Where have I been you might ask?

Well we have been here. That's our cabin and a few pictures we took while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in the Great Smokey Mountains!









Then Hubby, BFF and I took a little road trip to Nashville,TN to be there when my cousin married another one of our lifelong friends. We had a great time and I have tons of pictures but I won't bore you with them.













Then The Boy had swimming lessons for a full week. He has done really well and we are excited he is learning to swim all on his own! Then We had my family up for the July 4th holiday. I have an amazing family and we have a blast every time we get together!
















And we have been over here getting things done around here. These are my cabinets and our bathroom vanity. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL and I am in LOVE WITH THEM! :)















My oldest is at summer camp this week and here are a few of her getting ready to head up to camp with some of her friends form S'boro Campus!
















So while older sister is away at Camp I thought it would be cool to take the younger two to meet up with my sister in law and Nephew at Point Mallard for the day. We had a great time as you can see in these pictures.
















So that should catch you guys up with what's going on. We have just a couple short weeks and we will be moving into our dream home. It's beautiful and I have no idea how I am going to keep it clean because I takes me 3 hours just to mop the hardwoods. YIKES!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful and has a blessed week. I am heading off to Camp in a little while to visit my precious baby girl who I have missed so bad. I LOVE THAT GIRL!!!

Thankfulness

Ughhhh My little sister has been talking about being thankful for the in between times, man don't ya hate it when your little sister shows more maturity than you? ha ha No I really don't it's always been that way she is so wise beyond her years and always says something I can learn from. Anyway back to the subject she is going through some of the same things we are she is building a house living under someone else's roof and well It's just not easy. Sometimes I find myself wondering God what are you doing to me? Why in the world are we going through all of this. The stress in building a house is more than I could ever explain. PLEASE DO NOT BUILD A HOUSE AND HAVE TO FIND OUT! It's sooooooo rough especially since we are building it ourselves and only contracted out the brick, sheet rock, cabinets and flooring! It's just so much on my poor husband there are nights I lay there looking at him while he is sleeping and he has a frown on his face. I have gone and gotten him more telynol than I care to count. He has more headaches these days and just does not seem to be the happy go lucky guy I married almost 10 years ago this month. I am just trying to be thankful for this time ITS NOT EASY but I am trying to be thankful for the headaches because after all of this I will have a beautiful house. My sheet rock may not be perfect but I will always have those walls to remind me of what it took to get there. :) Father Help me be thankful for the process and help me in the patience department.

We have BEAUTIFUL hardwoods through the whole downstairs. OH MY GOODNESS I am so happy with my choice and did I mention they were pretty inexpensive as far as hardwoods go? :) I am excited! Hubby told the sheet rock/painting crew they had till Friday June 12th and they best be done or they will not be getting paid. :) They are at the end of the 4th week that they said would take them 2. I am not gonna say any names until I find out if they are gonna work out or not. If not I will not be giving them a wonderful review! :)

So with all the headaches of the house hubby and I decided a few weeks back to not renew our wedding vows on our 10 year anniversary. We are gonna wait and renew when we are at a better place in our lives. I mean come on we are stretched far to thin as it is. Pool Season, Building our House, and trying to plan a ceremony/party We are always busy but that would be far to busy. We are gonna take a special trip that weekend and just be Bo and Lisa. Up in a cabin somewhere or at a beach house somewhere. We both need to just get away. Well I gotta go get the girls from VBS. I hope everyone is having a great week. Ours has been alright not TOOOO MANY times I wanted to pinch someones head off ha ha . REMEMBER LISA THANKFUL FOR THIS TIME THANKFUL FOR THIS TIME. Have a blessed day!

The House!

It's been a while since I have updated on what's going on at the new house! We ran into a huge snag when hubby hired a crew that promised to give the job done at half the price of the other guys. Now this crew was doing some work for our neighbor and they said that they could do sheet rock. HAHA Not so much. They worked on our house for 6 weeks and went through 63 boxes of sheet rock mud they painted over there mess so waisted 1500 worth of paint. Finally when we got back from Disney Hubby fired them. They messed the sheet rock up so bad we had a hard time finding another crew to come in and fix someone else's mistakes. For those of you who say report the ones who messed it up to the better business bureau. (because it's been said to me a few times) I can not report someone who is not in the country legally right? I think you get what I am saying! :) We learned a valuable lesson here just because its cheaper does not mean its the way to go. We are paying BIG TIME for this boo boo

We hired another crew 2 weeks ago who have done a great job fixing all of the other crews boo boo's. They however are not living up to their end of the deal they said it would be done in two weeks. Ummmm we are on week 3 :) It's alright I guess because we see progress. We had to buy all new paint and I was kinda grateful because I hated the colors in the kids rooms. It was far to dark so I got to lighten them up and now I am in LOVE with all three of the kids rooms. "S" room is completely done all we need in his room is carpet. (we are doing carpet in the upstairs bedrooms)

The tile guy started on Hubby's custom shower. It's gonna be beautiful I can not wait to see the finished product. Hubby has a stinken huge shower and I think he is more excited about it and the shower head we found. It is huge and it's one of those rain fall things. It's gonna be great.

The hardwoods started on Tuesday and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them. The foyer is done, the guest bedroom is done and half of the living room and dining room are done. I was so nervous about the choice I made and I have to say I did a great job. ha ha They are beautiful and I can't wait till all my furniture is in and it's all done.

Cabinet guy is almost done with our cabinets. We are just waiting on the painter to finish the kitchen walls and the floor to go in the kitchen for him to come back in for final measurements. I really need those done because it's gonna take 2 weeks for my granite to come in.

Appliances are here I know I sound like a dork but I am totally in love with my fridge. I can't wait to show you guys the finished product! My baby sister is building a house as well. I keep telling her she is gonna be in her house before me and We started ours this past Sept her's was just started a few weeks ago and she is almost caught up to our progress. :) Hubby shooting for a end of June move in. I say we should be in before Christmas! ha ha Well that's my update I will post pictures soon. I took my camera yesterday but for some reason did not put the SD card in the camera. HA I just made fun of Laura for bringing her camera to the lake this past weekend but forgot her SD card. That's what I get for making fun of someone! Well I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. My babe's get out of school tomorrow. I can not believe I will have a 2nd grader and 5th grader! Ughhh time flies. Have a wonderful Thursday! Blessings

Jon and Kate Plus 8

I will admit this has been my favorite show and If it went off the air I would have been totally upset! I love those kids and I kinda feel bad for them growing up with those camera's in their tiny little faces every second of their lives. The parents well they are just on there to make drama. I honestly feel that TLC should cancel this show! I watched it tonight after going back and forth about how I would feel after the show. To tell you the truth I did not feel sorry for POOR POOR KATE my hubby cheated on me, or POOR POOR JON my wife talks to me like I am a dog and belittles me for the whole world to see. I feel so sorry for those children who all of them love there Mommy and Daddy so much and never asked to be born to these people. I think that Jon has done some really bad things and I think Kate needs to take some responsibility into the problem. NO how she treated her husband did not make him crawl off in bed with the other woman but if you are not putting funds into his "love bank" he is going to find someone to. I know a lot of what I am saying will make a few of you mad but I just don't see Jon as the demon in all this. I see that the love of the fame, money, things has turned these two into two totally two different people. Kate thinks she is a movie star and tries to pretend that she got all dressed up like that to go to the party supply store? NO she got all dolled up so the camera's would see her all beautiful with all the kids. Its to me just pure drama on Kate's side. I think she really does not even know who she is anymore.
The one thing that I think this family needs the most is Jesus they need to cry out face flat down in your living room floor pouring their hearts out to the father. I NEED YOU, IF JON or KATE goes father no matter what my life brings I am yours totally and completely sold out to you. It's there that they will find what they are looking for they will find all they need is Jesus Christ. They have proclaimed to be Christians and speak at churches and such but I just did not see any reference tonight to wise Godly council. I am gonna wrap this up by saying God's desire for our lives is that we are to be married to ONE MAN ONE WOMAN and be faithful to this ONE MAN/ ONE WOMAN for as long as we both shall live. I feel like if more marriages that are in trouble would honestly seek the father with every fiber of their being that The Father God will show up and show out! I am sick high on medication and going to the doctor in the morning. I just could not go to sleep without writing something about this show tonight. Blessings
