Thankful Thursday!

So I have been slacking on these post the past few weeks! I wanted to make sure that today I posted because I have some things I am so thankful for.

I am thankful that I God worked the conflicts out before it was to late.

I am thankful that the enemy did not destroy my marriage all those years ago!

I am thankful for all of our friends and family that have been praying and seeking the father for my sister and her adoption!

I am thankful that the money is going to come in and its going to be the exact amount down to the penny!

I am thankful for "M" she may talk in school but at least she can talk.

I am thankful for my Alli she always has a soft voice and wise words.

I am so thankful that my Hubby is taking "The Love Dare" seriously.

I am thankful for my family (moms, dads, sisters, brothers in law, nieces/nephews, cousins) I may not get to see them all as often as I wish but I adore you all.

I am so thankful for a God who forgiveness and thankful he is teaching me to forgive as well even when the person who has done me wrong does not ask. (Forgiveness is something we have to choose to walk in even when we feel we are right)

I can go on and on but most of all i am Thankful for God sending his son to die on the cross for my sins and your sins. If you have not already please pray ask the father to come into your life and make you a new. You are not promised tomorrow life is just a vapor! Heaven is an eternity.

There you have it my Thankful Thursdays!

Day 3

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.

—Romans 12:10

TODAY’S DARE

Whatever you put your time, energy, and money into will become more important to you. It’s hard to care for something you are not investing in. Along with restraining from negative comments, buy your spouse something that says, “I was thinking of you today.”

OK so yesterday was not the best of day's for me. I do not want to get to deep into the reason's but just know it was one of those day's where you do not honestly know how you feel! You feel all different emotions for a lot of different reason's. I pretty much just cleaned the kitchen and did a couple (meaning 2) loads of laundry then went to my BFF's house to look at her new counter tops and admire her beautiful creation her new house! I did not even remember the dare yesterday so I FAILED however my precious husband did not.

He knew I was having one of those days and was just so precious to me all day. He called to see how I was doing just because he was worried about me. Then last night as we were going to bed. He said honey you wanna read the dare? I had already taken Benadryl because I have broke out into hives. YIKES they itch so bad folks. My reply was No we failed today and I am exhausted so I am just gonna go to bed we can pick it back up tomorrow! To that he says to me I did not fail I opened my eyes to a package in his hand with a big ol smile on his face. By this time my Benadryl had really kicked in I could not keep my eyes open and my arms were weak so I asked him to get the wrapping paper off of it for me. He went to my favorite little gift shop here in town called "Gina's" She wraps very well! hee hee So I open it up and it was a "Bangles from Heaven" bracelet. How awesome is this man? He did not fail his dare he passed it more ways than one! Hubby and I have had our shares of ups and deep dark pits but our God was and is so faithful to see us through. I love this man more today than I did almost 10 years ago on the day I married him. So I am off today to try and work on day 3's dare! hee hee I won't be able to top that!

On another subject please be praying for my sister Laura and her adoption. She is in need of a financial miracle. She has 14 days to come up with 7,500.00 please pray and seek the father on her behalf and if he stirs you to give toward her adoption please contact me and I will gladly send you her address so that you can mail the check to her! Well I best get busy around I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Blessings!

Day 1 & 2 (Political Soap Box)

So like I said in the last post Hubby and I decided to start "The Dare" on Sunday night!
Day 1's dare:
The first part of this dare is fairly simple. Although love is communicated in a number of ways, our words often reflect the condition of our heart. For the next day, resolve to demonstrate patience and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all. If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It’s better to hold your tongue than to say something you’ll regret.

OK so that sounds simple enough right? Not so much for us because we are building a house and still choosing things so that one was rough on us because we are two different people with two different taste and vision for this house! This dare may turn out to be a wonderful thing for us at this time in our lives in building the house. I have heard so much negativity about building houses as a married couple. If your marriage can survive building a house it can survive anything! ha ha I beg to differ I can think of a lot worse things a marriage can survive and make it through :) We made it and did a great job only wanting to say something negative a few times ha ha but all house related!

Onto Today’s Dare
In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness. I will let you guys know how this goes! I am sure there are going to be days where I will just come on here and say I FAILED. Well because we are human and are always growing learning and getting a good ol spanking from the father!

OK I know I have not really said much about this political election going on! I had an amazing lunch with my Best Friend Alli yesterday. She had just had a conversation with her co-workers about key issues involved in this election. I will just say to you guys the same thing I said to her. You do not have to "fight" for your candidate that election is already decided it was decided long ago. Does that mean we do not have to get off our tails and vote NO. That is our God given right many women and men have died for this right. I told her you know all these people talking about how our faith has no business in this election, but ummm I let my faith and my relationship with the father lead me in all aspects of my life. So why would I leave God at the door when I go into the booth and vote. I will not pick and choose what parts of the bible I will believe. The Bible says thou shall not kill it does not say but if you have a good reason. Its simple to me. I believe that the word pro choice is a crazy word for it. I believe its either you are pro life or pro death! I am sorry if I am offending anyone but I am not called to to sugar coat the word of God it is what it is Deuteronomy 12:32 "Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do.(AY) You shall not add to it or take from it" It's so simple to me it's either thou shall not kill or you can kill. I just do not understand people why do they hunt around and hunt around for a church that will "fit there lifestyle" ummm if your pastor is not teaching the whole Bible you are not where you need to be. If praise and worship does not stir something in your spirit and if the message does not provoke you to think about your life and where this applies and you walk out of there with a goal to live a better life hmmmm something is not right! I am not all about a message of hell fire and brimstone but I am also not all about these pastors that teach Christianity is all flowers, bubble gum and sweets. I think that is not reality we serve a God who has rules you follow them or at least try to live them day in and day out and you will be rewarded. If you do not then you are in danger of hell's flames. Sorry folks don't shoot the messager its in The Word. OK I have no idea why I just wrote all that? Maybe because I have kept silent for long enough on these issues. Like I told Alli yesterday Sometimes its best to be silent and allow people to keep talking and the Holy Spirit inside of you will convict without you saying a word. I believe your faith needs to guide you in that voting booth! Do not leave God out of politics folks without him you would not even be here to vote. I am not saying who to vote for but I will say this you will stand before God and give an account for all of your actions how you lived, how you served the father, and also how you voted. Fast, pray and seek God wholeheartedly on which person to vote for. This is not the time pick on party lines. Let me just say as a side note the democratic party nor republican is not the party of old I have heard so many people say my mom was a democrat/republican and there mother and there mother. Well back then the party was for the working class, but be foreal some of these politicians come from some of the most wealthy families in the United States Republican or Democrat. These people are millionaires they do not know what its like to be a business owner, teacher, hair stylist, police officer, and plumber (poor Joe). For people to just vote one way blindly is a slap in the face to the brave men and woman who have given there lives for your right to vote. So instead of looking at the red or the blue state or what your friends are voting LOOK to the LORD TO LEAD YOU! OK I am off my box! I just think I kept silent long enough now is the time to speak up and let your voice be heard! Do I think you are a horrible person if you are voting against who I am voting for? HECK NO as a matter of fact one of my closest friends is voting for the other guy. Do I love her or respect her any less? Nope I believe she is a Godly woman who will seek God wholeheartedly and make the choice right for her and her family. I believe that we serve the same God and just because she does not support who I support does not makes her any less of a Christian! So lets ease off the supporter's of these two and lets go at the candidates and again SEEK the Father now until next Tuesday even as you are standing in that voting booth as to whom the FATHER would have you vote for! Blessings!

Standing in the Fire!

fireproofbanner

The Hubby and I have been trying for weeks now to go see the movie "Fireproof" we finally got to see it last night! Thanks to my Mother and Father in law who took the girls to see High School Musical 3 and Corey Lands who watched Silas for me. I prayed before we walked into the theater that God would use this to heal things in me that I know are still raw! I know sometimes it is best to be transparent so people can see your imperfections but sometimes I feel like its best to not put all of your business out there for everyone to know! I have been hearing Pastor Gretchen in my head for about a year now saying "Do not destroy your spouses witness/ministry" WOW there have been many times I wanted to just blast on my husband on here but that precious voice of Pastor Gretchen rings in my ears. You may ask me I just told you all that well its because I think this post is going to be random and I wanted to let you know why!

Can I just say that this movie stirred up emotion in me that I thought I had laid down months and even years ago. I think all marriages have been through at least a few of if not all the things that the on screen marriage were going through. Bless my poor hubby I know there is one thing in that movie he has not been tempted with the Internet/pornography issue. My poor husband can hardly get on his facebook account or his myspace page God love him. However I think the one thing that broke me most was during the time where Kirk Cameron's character had made a commitment to the father and was just waiting on his wife to realize there marriage was worth saving. It broke me broke me down to sobs in the middle of the movie theater. You see at one point in my life I was there I was waiting and holding on by my finger nails even when it felt like the whole world was pulling at my feet and the winds were blowing I held on. It was not me that held on it was the father in me that was holding to his promises for my life. It was at this time in my life where my relationship with the Lord became the center of my life. It was at this time in my life where I found what I had been looking for. I found a father who was just standing there waiting on me to come to him with my life with my problems. Last night I felt conviction I felt like God took me back right there in the theatre to that place and reminded me of how dependant I was on him that every second of everyday I was praying, seeking and studying any and all things I could get my hands on. After a few months and answered prayers I started to slack off and not fully seek him mind body and soul like I was at this time in my life. I felt the father pulling at my heart to come back to that time in my life to pray, seek and study as much if not more than I had because It needs to be a constant in my life not just when I feel helpless. CONVICTION I TELL YOU!

This movie should be a staple for any and all marriage counseling. I think no longer should Pastor's or Councilor's give out the book "His needs her needs building an affair proof marriage" well maybe they should because that's a great book. However I feel like this movie should be purchased by churches and given out for the first session of premarital counseling or counseling in general. I believe the Love Dare is one of those books that will stand the test of time and still be relevant for future generations.

I have done a lot of research on marriages and I know all the percentages of people in the church divorce rates. I know its higher than "the world". I will say this there is a reason the devil is attacking marriages. With one marriage failing not only are the couples lives destroyed and impacted negatively but the children are impacted, parents, sister's, brother's, uncles everyone that is a part of your world is impacted when a marriage is failing. The devil is a wise old turd he knows with one marriage destroyed he can impact all those people its like a domino effect.

I believe that if both people are willing to seek the father and make Christ the CENTER of your life and marriage any marriage can be saved. I do not care what you have been through from an affair, pornography addiction, to just out and out disgust for your spouse. I know my God is bigger than anything that the devil can throw at me or you. I feel like we have to be willing to throw the devil down and say You will not have my mind you will not have my soul and you will not have my marriage. I think if we take Divorce off the table make it not an option then you would be surprised at what a marriage can withstand.

I think I am going to go see this movie again but maybe go by myself ha ha. Sit all alone in a corner and this time remember to bring my tissues. Not many will understand what I am talking about however I hope that you do not have to know details to know that I serve a big God and he has done many a miracle in my life in all aspects of my life. I am so blessed that the father did not give me what I deserved. I am not worthy of the favor he has poured out on my life. OK I could seriously go on and on and on on this movie but I will just finish this post by saying GET OFF YOUR TAIL and go see this movie if you have seen it take the Dare. Hubby and I decided to wait to start "The Love Dare" till after we saw the movie (thank you Randi) so this Sunday night we are going to start on day 1 of our 40 days of working on this wonderful blessing in both mine and hubby's life OUR MARRIAGE! Blessings

Oh Yeah I strongly recomment the Fireproof Soundtrack. We purchased it off iTunes. This is the song that tore me to shreds last night

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord

Exhaustion, Blisters & Sickness!

Yes I have both of those! The day before yesterday which would have been Wednesday we had the city inspector come out to see if what all they had done was looking good and to see if the electric would pass! Ummm Not so much we went to the Power Board and they told us what to buy so Hubby goes and spends 120 something on the meter box and the breaker box. Yeah they get here and say oh that's not the right one We have come to find out that Scottsboro does not just meet the national standard for Code's and such but the inspector told us that Scottsboro takes it one step further. Which I am happy in one sense but then again I think some of this is NUTS. Like the footer we had it all dug out and were going around picking up the bigger dirt chunks and throwing them out of the hole and the inspector told us No he wanted to see shovel scrap marks. Well that would have been fine had we not already had all the re bar down waiting on concrete. So I yes I "LISA W-B" got a rake and a shovel and was shoveling dirt right along side the boys and I have the blister's to prove it. I will say it does feel nice to say I have contributed a bit even if it was not that much! So yesterday gets here Steve's son calls in and says he won't be there today then our two guys that work for us had a pool job they had to finish so it was ME, Hubby, Hubby's Uncle and his worker out there finishing up getting the rest of the trash out of the trenches getting the forms built for the concrete as they call them pillars I don't get it but alright! The inspector shows up early as always and passed us on both the electric and the footer we were so excited Hubby and I were hugging and high fiving! ha ha It was such a huge relief to know we could go the next step. They poured concrete all day today some of our best friends showed up to lend a hand and watch like everyone else the concrete being poured and finished. So You know I took a million pictures and will post them at the bottom.

"M" called me from school Wednesday because her throat was hurting pretty bad and needed something for it. Well I check her out of school early and took her to a local quick care clinic here in Scottsboro. Hubby's BFF from school days wife is the Nurse Practitioner there. We love Cherish and are just as comfortable with the care she gives our babies as we do Dr. Cochran in Huntsville. Poor "M" she had a sinus infection with a really red throat and swollen tonsils. So we got her some meds and put her in bed. She just felt horrible she had the chills and wanted to sleep all day Wednesday. She had a big school field trip scheduled for Thursday in Chattanooga at Ruby Falls but with the rate she was going it was not looking good for her. Well she felt so bad when I told her I think it's best she stay home since they would be outside most of there trip she did not even care. She just said "OK Mom I don't feel good I wanna go to sleep can I have another blanket?" That poor child did not even fight me on it. Bless her heart. She slept the majority of yesterday until around 2:30 and from then on she seemed to be her normal self so we decided that she was well enough for school this morning!

We have not told the girls but we plan on taking them tonight to see High School Musical 3 that comes out tonight! We are super excited because Scottsboro theater is playing something we want to watch for once! We love High School Musical around this house. I secretly took the girls Cd's from both 1 and 2 and have it in my Car's CD changer! ha ha I love all the songs they are really cute. Well this weekend we are just going to be lazy change the furniture up on the second floor of the apartment and do laundry! We have church on Sunday and I am super excited because we get our Kindergarten class back but this time it is for 3rd service! AHHHH We love it. Well I best get busy around here I have a week's worth of ironing to do! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Blessings

Warning This is a Rant!

OK you have been forewarned this is a Rant and I am sorry but I have to get it out and I know my poor husband does not need to hear it because there really is nothing he can do other than fire his Uncle! OK Hubby's uncle is our contractor on our house being built. I had reservations about this form the get go but submitted to my husband's desire to be very active in the building process and none of the other contractor's would knock off price with him helping. I think Hubby has always dreamed of building his dream house with his own two hands. He comes from a very long line of "B Family" men that have built there homes and I have to say I am very proud of him. HOWEVER back to the rant. His Uncle takes his precious time doing whatever he pleases and what should have taken a week to dig out took 3 to dig out our basement. Hubby has all permits has the temp power pole and box up ready for Electric Board to come inspect he has cut away more of the slope to make room for the concrete truck. I mean Hubby has done everything he can possibly do. His Uncle was to be here yesterday to dig out the footer well he did not show up and finally calls Hubby at like 5:15 and says I did not make it down there. Ummm No joke Sherlock! The concrete truck will be here tomorrow mid morning and this has to be done its 8:19 a.m and that goof off is still not here. I just really am aggravated and I have talked to my Mother in law about it its her brother. Can I just say how funny God sometimes is, my Mother is nothing like her siblings and my Mother in law and her middle brother are nothing like her younger brother. They are very responsible do as they say they are going to do. Even if it makes someone ill if they say they are going to be somewhere they are there. NOT SO MUCH WITH THIS UNCLE! OK I may eat my words in a few months and love him but right now at this moment I am ready to pop his bald head off his body! OK I am going to clean house while "S" is at my mother in laws. YIPEEE he stayed the night last night with them. He has not stayed the whole night in months! It was so wonderful to sleep and not have a little body in between hubby and I. OK I gotta get busy! Oh Oh OH Mom in law took Miley our youngest Shi Tzu to the vet yesterday to get fixed! I wish I could share the story but this is a G rated blog! ha ha Well the vacuum is calling my name! Blessings!

Missing Victor!

Ok this post is just my thoughts as they are thought you guys are about to see just how random I think. This post is all over the place and about our friend Victor! Hubby and I were so blessed to have had Victor Tolliver in our lives. He was absolutely the best friend my husband has ever had! Victor would stop whatever he was doing to help Hubby with anything he ever needed and was always at our house. God love him he even had a key to our old house's. Every night sometime around 8:00 or 8:30 he would get off work call and ask what I made for dinner and just a few short minutes later there he was sitting at our dinner table eating and doing homework! He had a special relationship with my girls he loved them both. However he had such a special bond with "B" I remember one time I was walking in Wal-mart and "B" was just a tiny tiny baby. Victor was walking along side me as I pushed "B" in the buggy in her pumpkin seat! One of Victor's friends from High School walked up to us and said Oh Vic I did not know you had a baby Man congratulations she is beautiful! bahahahah "B" seriously was such a darked skinned little middle eastern looking baby! We both cracked up and were like ewww no ha ha. He quickly told the guy this is my best friends baby and this is his wife! Victor and I cracked up about that all the time. Victor and "B" were constantly chasing, tickling or playing with her toys! I remember many of time I would walk into "K" room and Victor, "K" and "B" were all laying on the bed watching some Disney movie. ha ha He was so good with them and made sure he told them just how much he loved them every time he left the house or if it just hit him to say "K" or "B" I love you! When Victor would come in the house he would say "K" and her middle name I am gonna get you and chase her around the house and tickle tickle tickle her. He would pick "B" up and dance with her all around the house! He was just so so precious. I remember having many a talk on my back porch with our mutual friend Amy. It was always Hubby, Myself, Amy and Victor eating dinner and sitting on the back deck till wee hours in the morning just talking about any and all things. Many a nights our conversations were about our relationship with the Lord. At the time my relationship with the Lord was not the best it could have been. That did not stop us from getting into some deep talks. I know without a shadow of a doubt Victor had a relationship with the Lord. The Bible says we will know they are Christian by there fruit and from his fruits its obvious. I will never ever forget the day that Victor left this earth. I called his cell phone because I was going into Wal-mart and wanted him to walk around with me while I shopped just like he always did. His friend Denton answered the phone and I was like what are you doing answering his phone and he asked me where was I and I told him and he asked for Hubby I told him he was not with me. Well then he told me Vic had been in an accident and that he was at the hospital. Well I just figured it was a finder bender and I called Hubby and he told me to just get my shopping done and get home so he could go to the hospital. I got two pages of groceries done in 15 min. I saw Amy and told her and told her I would call her as soon as I heard something. I went home Hubby was sitting in the car waiting on me to pull up he went to the hospital. Well all of a sudden my phone was ringing off the hook people saying Victor had been in a horrible wreck and that he died. I kept saying shut up don't you ever call this phone again with such horrible gossip. I called Hubby and called him nothing about 2 hours later he pulls into the driveway I run out to the top deck to see him and he would not look at me. He gets into the house and stretches out across our stairs his body could not go any further. He kept screaming he's gone he's gone I could not believe it I told him don't say that to me. Then he proceeded to tell me the story about how him and his friend Trey were coming down the mountain Trey lost control of the truck and it hit a ditch flipping the car over and over and Victor flew out of the truck killing him instantly! I have never been so sad in my whole life. I have never morned someone like I have morned Victor. My Hubby spoke at the funeral and I have to say he did a wonderful job. Bless his heart he made me go up to the front of the gym and hold his hand while he gave his eulogy. In the weeks that followed I saw my husband change into a very cold distant man. He stopped showing emotion and just really was lost without him. I know in the years that followed things happened in our lives and Hubby would always say I really wished Victor had been here I do not believe any of this would have ever happened. Now looking back I can not see how we have gone on with our lives these 4 years. Something just seems wrong without him. I can not believe he does not know "S" and "S" does not know him. My heart aches every time I see pictures of him or I see Rashad with "S". I just think oh Victor would be so proud of the lives we now lead and of the relationship Hubby and I now have with one another. I heard a song this morning by Diamond Rio that says

"Forever, youre a part of me
Forever, in the heart of me
And Ill hold you even longer if I can
The people who dont see the most
Say that I believe in ghosts
And if that makes me crazy, then I am
cause I believe

There are more than angels watching over me
I believe, I believe"

It made me think of him and I just thought I would write about him this morning! So there is my post for the morning! Its not a happy one but its part of who I am! Victor, Nicole, my grandparents I believe they are watching over me and my family! I guess I am crazy! Folks don't get super spiritual on me I know all of that. It just makes it easier to handle all these years if I just think of them as being with me! OK I am going to clean this house!

House update
Hubby dug out our driveway yesterday after church and this morning. The concrete company is coming Wed to pour the footer. Its coming along I will take pictures later after the fog has cleared out!

Saturday 10-18-08

Last night we packed up the truck and headed toward Florence to spend the night with Hubby's sister. Her son was having his 4th birthday party this afternoon so we thought we would go over and help her out with getting things ready. We knew she would be short handed with help so we thought we would head over early. We had to make a stop at Target to pick up his gift and of course get my pumpkin spice latte. I just love this time of year if only for pumpkin spice. My cousin makes this cake I am telling you its to blame die for. YUM what I would not give for a great big piece of that an a huge glass of milk. OK I gotta stop thinking about that cake. After we left Target Hubby ran into the Family Christian Book Store and got the book from the movie "Fireproof" called The Love Dare. We are super excited about this book. We read the first few pages on the way to my sister in laws but after the girls begged me to hush I put it away. hee hee I just have to say again how excited I am about my precious new niece. Every single time I think of her beautiful face with her two middle finger's stuck in her mouth just like her Momma use to do when she was a baby. I tear up this child is so so loved. She is a miracle and I can not wait to show her off. Trust me when you see her you will say it was worth the wait. Ughh there I go again crying. I am just so happy to finally have the face to go with the dream. We did not get to my sister in laws house till 9:00 but I went right outside and kicked the soccer ball around with my nephew and I have to say running in that night air put a hurting on my lungs. I came in and I guess went right to sleep because I was just gonna lay down with "S" and next thing I know its morning time! We got up and cleaned up dusted everything. She has a beautiful house beautiful decorated but the more she decorates the more she is going to have to dust. I think I will stick with bareness ha ha I am so blame lazy! We got everything ready and her husband showed to grill hot dogs. Then all the guest started to arrive. It was a great little party full of pirates. I have to say however that when a certain set of Sister's walked in I felt every single bit of my 30 years. The oldest I did not even recognize her she is 13. She was to be the flower girl in our wedding had we not ran off! She was 3 holy cow and can I just say they have turned out to be some of the most beautiful little ladies and just a pleasure to be around! We left my sister in laws after trying to help her clean things up. Because we all know the Men were to involved in there ballgame to help the poor lady with anything! We headed straight to Grant to spend the evening with my parents and stay the night. We have had a good time chit chatting and looking at the pictures of our newest family member! My Daddy said to me "Have you seen our baby girl?" with all the pride of a new grandpapa! We all are smitten with this little one! She has the most beautiful eyes ughhh I can't wait till we can finally show you guys what we are talking about! Well we have church in the morning and I forgot to take my Ambien so I hope I am on my game tomorrow. Last week I felt was a HUGE let down! I messed things up so so bad. Well Its late and I am ready for bed well at least ready to lay there and look at the ceiling! I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far and heads to church somewhere tomorrow! Blessings!

Proud to Announce!

I am a very proud Aunt again! This time to a beautiful baby girl from Ethiopia. My sister Laura and her husband have been traveling down a long and sometimes torturous road of adoption. God love her and him both they have developed a deeper faith and dependency on the father! I am so stinking excited. She called me and right from the moment I heard her voice I knew something had happened you could hear the emotion in her voice. She said "We have a baby" it took me a few seconds before it clicked in my head. I just sat down in the hallway and cried with my sister and Praised the Lord for this amazing gift of a precious tiny little baby girl. I wished that we could share pictures and I could be the proud Aunt showing everyone just how beautiful our sweet girl is, but because Laura & her Hubby have not made it through court our sweet "M" is not legally there's so we have to wait to share her beautiful face, but trust me I am not just saying this because she is my niece. This little girl is breathtakingly beautiful. I have not stopped crying since Laura called. I know my tears are not just happy tears they are more tears of Thanksgiving. I have yet another thing to be thankful for finally we have an actual face & tiny little frame to go with the dream that was birthed inside my sister all those years ago. Lord you are so amazing and just when I think you can not top what you have already done in our lives then you give us this precious baby girl! Father we just bless you and Thank you for watching over and protecting our sweet "M" till we are able to have her home in the United States safe and secure with her family here. In Jesus Precious Name Amen! Head over to my sister's blog and congratulate her! We are super excited now comes the rough part of the "W game" we now have a face to go with the dream so its going to be even harder to wait for traveling plans to be finalized. Continue to pray for them. Thank you guys so much. ANOTHER "W" baby girl to love! Blessings everyone have a great weekend!

Prayer's for a childhood friend! *Updated*

This morning I got up was drinking my coffee and catching up on emails like I do every morning. However this morning I noticed one of my childhood friends had written a blog entitled sadness and so I clicked on it thinking that she was sad because she had to take her daughter to school this morning or that she did not pass a test (she went back to school) but NEVER did it cross my mind that something was going to be wrong with her pregnancy! She had made it out of her 1st Trimester and was well on her way to the half way point so I never thought about the baby. No yesterday on the National Day of Remembrance for pregnancy and infant loss Chrissy found out she had lost the baby at 17 weeks and that this morning she would be admitted into the hospital to deliver her baby. Please please join with me in praying for Chrissy and her husband Wade and there two precious little girls. I pray that the Father would wrap his arms around her and show up big on this day that peace would just envelope her and her Family. I pray for healing emotional and physical. Thank you guys in advance for remembering my friend on this very hard day today! Love you guys!

Update from Chrissy herself on her blog:

I got home a few hours ago and am still woozy from the medicine. My baby was a little boy. We named him Mishael Hannaniah it means "Who is equal to our God" and "The Lord gives grace". He was 5 inches long and 1.7 ounces. They said from the size of him he has been gone about 2 weeks. Thank you for you prayers, they are doing more than you know.

Please continue to remember Chrissy and her husband Wade!

Lately!

Well we got back from the campground Monday night! We had a great time sitting around the fire, riding our bikes, swimming and playing cards! The kids rode there bikes from 7:00 a.m till 6:00 every single day. We would have to make them come in and give there legs a brake. Ha ha We bought walkie talkies so that we could communicate while they were out riding and for emergencies. Praise the Lord we had no emergencies. "S" has learned another new phrase but this one cracks me up and its not bad! I had to drive the dually home from the campground and when you turn into our street there is a big ol pot hole and in the dually it makes a huge bump "S" looks over at me from his car seat with this annoyed look on his face and says "are you kiddin me are you kiddin me Mom?" bahahahaha I seriously thought I was going to wet my pants I laughed so hard.

We still have not heard anything on the permits sheesh I mean why does it take so long to look at the plan and say OK I will take your few thousands of dollars and here is your permit. I have new pictures of the land I will post at the end of this blog. Sorry for only posting pictures those last few. I just did not have the energy last night to even put captions in them. We have been getting up at like 6 something every day and I am just exhausted by the time the kids get in the bed to blog like I normally do. Thank you for all the comments on the hair. Its taking some getting use to. I know it matches my eyebrows but I just think its a little to dark. I have been washing it a few times a day to try and wash some of the black out.

Yesterday my Best Friend Allilou called me and asked to meet her for lunch. I was so excited to get to go eat with her that I started getting ready at 10:30 ha ha I was meeting her at 12:00 We had such a great lunch. I always walk away from her feeling so much better than I did before. She is just an amazing woman and I love her more and more with each talk we have. We talked about everything from, houses, politics, friendships, and books we have been reading! So it was a great time to catch up with her. I think I am going to recommend that is something we do on a every other week basis. Lord knows I could use it the only real conversations I have with an adult are when Bo gets home and the kids are asleep. hee hee

This time of year always takes me back to a not so nice time of year in my life but then again this time of year shows me more and more God's grace and mercy. This time of year I tend to crawl up in the father's lap and just really try to seek him a little more because that's what gets me through. Have I said how much I adore my family! I have the best family in the world! (well at least to me) My parents and in laws are so awesome, my sister's and brother in laws are the best anyone could ever hope to have, my nieces and nephews show me the greatness of God. They each all have there own little story. I am so Thankful for all of them. My husband is amazing! He has made his share of boo boo's but please someone show me a husband who has not. There is no sin greater than the other to God. I know God created this man just for me and me for him. Sometimes I wanna strangle him but ya know that's life. We are not perfect people! My children drive me nuts and I scream No you may not do that more than I say I love you. (note to self try to fix that one) I love those little turds yes I just called my beloved children turds. They are all three so beautiful and I love to watch them learn new things and be excited about what life has for them. I serve a big God in spite of my failures has given me so much but most of all he has given me his son Jesus Christ even though I never deserved it. Here are the pictures I took earlier this morning!
