OK I don't mean to blog twice today!

However I was ironing clothes and "listening" to The View and they had Bill Maher on there show talking about his new movie called "Religulous" in this movie he is pretty much goes around questioning and making fun of peoples faith saying that we are talking to our "imaginary friend". I knew that Elizabeth would not take that She did say to him "your Mocking my faith" However I was very proud of Sherry for not laying down and letting this man knock her faith. OK here is a quote from the new poster child for Atheism this one really hacked me off.

It has been my pleasure over the last decade and a half to make organized religion one of my favorite targets. I often explained to people, "I don't need to make fun of religion, it makes fun of itself." And, then I go ahead and make fun of it too, just for laughs.

With religious fanatics like George Bush and Osama bin Laden now taking over the world, it seemed to me in recent years that this issue -- this cause of debunking the man behind the curtain -- needed to have a larger, more insistent and focused forum than late night television. I wanted to make a documentary, and I wanted it to be funny. In fact, since there is nothing more ridiculous than the ancient mythological stories that live on as today's religions, this movie would try to be a real knee slapper. Unless, of course, you're religious, then you might not like it.

I ABSOLUTLEY DISAGREE with Mr. Atheism I believe Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen! I believe in a God who cares of about all things and I have been through things in my life that if there were not a God I would not be alive. I can not deny what God has done in my life nor will I ever try. I serve a mighty mighty God who said Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: Utoh Mr. Maher you just mocked my GOD. So according to Mr. Maher I am ridicules and I have an imaginary friend. So to that I say I am very proud to be ridicules and have an "imaginary friend". OK no more blogging no more Internet lots more packing and cleaning and getting ready for our trip. Blessings

Jehovah Jireh my provider!

So last week "M" teacher sent home a note telling us she had discussed how the dollar is loosing its value. She also called to tell us that "M" seemed to be having a bad day after they talked about this that she thought a few of the children were really upset over it. I was at the church when I got the call about it and we started talking about how in public schools they are not allowed to teach that we do not have to worry about these things because we know that God will provide for us. Am I saying that we can just go out and spend spend spend? NO we do have to be faithful stewards of the blessings God has given us but we do not panic like the rest of the country because we believe that Jehovah Jireh is our Provider. I wanted to share two verses that have brought Hubby and I through some rough times financially and emotionally!

In Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall abundantly supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

My sister and I were talking the other day about our planet and all that the media is saying about how if we keep going the rate we are then planet will burn up! ummm Well "Heaven and earth will pass away but My words shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35). I don't know what in the world possessed me to write this out but I have been hearing so much of oh we are going into a depression. Well we may be but we do not have to worry about all the world does because we know with whom we have our faith in. I hope all is well with everyone! Blessings

P.S. We close on our land tomorrow morning at 10:00 then after that we are heading to Memphis for 4 nights to the big Million Dollar race! I will have my computer but my good friend will be using it for school more than I will for blogging! Pray for us for protection as we travel all that way in our Motor home with all of our children! Blessings

Paper Plate Smiles and Green Sequined Boys!

There has been so much going on around here. I feel like I am always doing something. Thursday Morning I had my recheck on my incision. All is well and that little booger itches soooo stinkin bad but its alright this to shall pass! After I got out of the doctor's office I went to grab "S" and I some lunch!

**Warning Soap Box** I am a little angry about this one and you can tell :o( I had an interesting phone conversation while on my way into town and I am just curious why in the world do people not leave well enough alone? I mean some of the things I heard were so hateful and could seriously disturbed one if they were not secure in there relationship with the Lord. I won't go into detail because its a private family matter but I will say this. EVERYONE Me included need to worry about our own family not everyone else's lives and keep our two cents worth to ourselves. I mean seriously if you are not helping you are hendering and well enough said on that point. I am just as guilty and have learned a valuable lesson. If its got nothing to do with me to keep my Mouth shut. Ughh I mean seriously people can be so mean and spiteful. OK OFF MY SOAP BOX!**

I went straight to the church after we got something to eat. We had craft day we made all of the crafts for all 3 campuses for 4 straight weeks, put the new Cd's in there cases and the new dvds the same. I always love getting to hang out with my Little Praisers family. Meredeth your story of the tire and the broke down car was I am sure a horrible experience but know you are not alone we OWN a tire and mechanic shop and I am driving around on some almost bald tires! So I am there with you sister! We had a great time chatting and working on the crafts and fixing boxes (all Ashley) For all campuses and classes. Listen up Little Praisers Coordinators on week 4 if your are teaching that week please note I DID NOT MAKE THE PAPER PLATE MOUTH'S! bahahahah (Jesus forgive me I just told a little fib) That was the hardest thing to make when you did not have a) Adult scissors b) a straight blade c)you had to use hair trimming dull scissors then go to borrow from the church office and they were dull too. SO I did my best its horrible and half the time the chick is talking out the side of her face! ha ha But oh well I tried. I had to make 17 sets of 8 ha ha good times. I left the church and headed back to the Boro to meet Hubby at the the store so we could take the dragster out to the mountain to make a few practise runs on the new transmission before we head up to Memphis next week for the Million. That's to far to go to have the blame thing break down first pass. Car did great seems to be on point! We are excited about next week.
While we were out there one of our former employee's came out. He had just gotten a horrible report that morning. He has a 2 1/2 inch tumor on his right testicle and found a spot in his chest! He was scheduled for surgery the following morning to have the testicle removed and sent off for biopsy. (That was yesterday and he came through fine, we are praying for a good report on the biopsy) Please join me in praying for him he is only 24 years old his name is Joshua Couch. He is pretty upset and was very worried about what all this means to him. I just kept encouraging him to get his life right with the Lord and to cry out for Mercy. God love him it just broke my heart.
We got home around 9:00 and I still had to make apple dumplings for "M" class. She had picked the final day of the 2 week long Johnny Apple Seed Apple recipe tasting for me to bring something in. I mean my Apple dumplings are "M" favorite dessert that I make and this would be the second time in 2 years that I have made them and sent them to school. (She was a little upset that 2 of the girls said they were OK ha ha) She wants everyone to love them like she does. I told her (here is a good lesson) and you can not please everyone all the time. So what if they don't like them all that matters to you is that you like them. It's not your issue do not take it personal.

Friday morning was the Big Homecoming. Now here in the Boro this is a huge deal. Back home we did not get out half a day and we did not have a homecoming parade. Granted I did not go to public school but I know that with as many schools there are in Huntsville they could not shut downtown down every day for a parade. My sister called (pray for her she has pneumonia) to update me on how she was feeling and see what I was doing. I told her I was picking the girls up from school and going home to get ready for the H/C parade. She was like the elementary school got out early for H/C? I thought well yeah and then it dawned on me she was like me from Huntsville and this was not practised there. We headed down to City Hall to hang out with our buddies down there and wait on the parade. It was a great little parade and I was hoping Rashad would ride but he is to cool I guess. I can't believe he is graduating it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. It does not seem like it was just the other day I met him 13 years old and a pain in my tail. He is such a wonderful young man I love that boy just like he was my own! After the parade we ran home got dressed and headed back out to the ballgame. It seemed like anyone who at one point in there lives breathed the air in Scottsboro was there. That place was jam packed. Thank Goodness we have reserved seats because we never would have gotten a seat.

(SIDE NOTE) My daughter's want me to tell you guys about Butler's band. They had the biggest laugh in there lives and I felt a little bad. You see Butler's band is rather small but a big sound came out of them they played all new on the charts songs and I loved watching them. That's not the laugh the dance line had 2 girls and 1 boy (THATS RIGHT I SAID BOY). Allow me to explain to you what they had on. The girls had on an off one shoulder green sequined top with skin tight black pants and white gloves on the boy had on a Skin tight green sequined shirt with the same skin tight black pants and white gloves. Do not get me wrong I am all for Boy's dancing I think its great but ummm this boy he danced the girls into the ground and he pranced all over that field. I had no idea boy's hips could move like that. I felt bad for him because you could hear the WHOLE Scottsboro side roaring in laughter. This little brown guy just danced his heart out and smiled the whole way through it and then proceeded to prance his hip shacking booty all the way to the other side and stand and sway and shake it up in the stands. Hubby says he wished he had taken a video so that I could post it on here for you guys to get the full picture.

Today we have a birthday party to go today. One of my good friend's little girls is turning 2 and having a big party. My friend and I joke and say her 2 year old and my "S" are going to get married one day. They talk about each other all the time and the only person she wanted at her party was "S" they are precious. They really are so cute to watch because they really do love being with each other. Probably more than there Mommy's do and that is saying a lot. My friend and I can sit and talk for hours and hours if we both had the time. ha ha She is going to school taking a full class load at night, taking care of 3 little girls during the day. Ha Ha and I think I have it rough. I am always doing laundry or cleaning up this house or taking the kids to gymnastics or something. So right now is not a very good time to sit and chat on the phone for me. Well I gotta get my kids in the shower and get ready to head out of town for the day. I just wanted to go ahead and update so I did not have a million days to catch up on. Tomorrow is going to be crazy. We have church then Sam's then home to get this house spotless wash all clothes iron all clothes pack all clothes then clean the house on wheels and get her ready for our trip to Memphis! Pray for us! hee hee Blessings!

WE BROKE GROUND!

We officially broke ground today! Monday night Hubby's uncle came over and we officially laid out the house how I wanted it to be and where I wanted my front door to point! The street we live on there is not really a house maybe one that faces the street head on, so I figured I would just do what I wanted with it and point my front door more toward the water giving me a larger backdoor and more space on the side for my garage. We put re bar stakes down and centered everything up. They got out some paint and made the big box where my basement will be and today WE BROKE GROUND! I have never been so proud of a big 8 1/2 foot hole in all of my life. Hubby seems to think that it will take maybe a week to get the basement dug out and then after we get that then the brick layer will come in and do the footer and block stuff. We also had good conversation about how long it will take to get it blacked in 2 months is what I feel like it will take. WE SHALL SEE!!! We are so excited here are a few picture of the ground breaking!

Ummm I will have to post them later, because I can not find the cord to my camera to load them! Until then just picture a big UGLY backhoe digging into the ground ;o) Blessings!

So much going on!

First off PRAISE THE LORD! My pathology report came back benign. Wednesday of last week rolled around and I had not heard from the doctor and I was starting to get worried. I called and the nurse said "What did you say your name was again?"
I said Lisa B
Nurse "hold one one second please"
Doctor " Mrs. B Its Dr. Kilgo"
OK I seriously about swallowed my heart. You see I have an Aunt who is battling cancer yet again and every time that she got a bad report the doctor got on the line to give her the bad news. The doctor told me when he removed it on Thursday that "it looked like a txt book case of melanoma" So when he got on the phone that was all I was hearing.
Dr " Everything looked good and I have to say I was surprised. The mole's edges were so irregular and with it every changing, but it benign."
I said "I serve a big God. Thank you so much see you next week."

Can I just tell you as soon as I got out of the car I jumped up and down, jogged in one spot, screamed to the top of my lungs PRAISE YOU JESUS! Then called my family and some friends to tell them the great news! God is so good and I just have to give him the praise and glory for my healing!
Thursday night while I was working on laundry the blame dryer stopped working. Ughhh Praise the Lord it did the dryer we purchased has a mechanism that shuts it off if its getting to to hot. Other wise our apartment would have burned down. Bo fixed what was wrong with it and now its running like a champ.

Our weekend consisted of Friday night football we got beat booo. Rashad played good for the few times he got to go in. Have I said how proud of him I am, he does not get a lot of field time but he sure does stand on those sidelines and cheer for his team mates. I think he has turned into such a wonderful young man. He is so respectful he has his moments where I wanna pop him in the mouth but those days are few and far between. Friday after the ballgame we headed up to Grant to my parents house to hang out and spend the night with them. We had good conversations I always love getting to just sit around and talk with my parents. They are the bestest parents on the planet! (to me) We finally got to bed around 12:00 in the a.m I did not sleep worth a doodlebop I finally got up and got on the couch sometime around 4:00 still did not sleep because Silas followed me in there. Ughhh

Saturday Morning came far to early for me, but anyway. Silas and Daddy went outside for some male bonding ha ha they went to throw the ball and play with dad's kittens. We then all got dressed and headed out for "CT" birthday party. Bo and I had to stop by and get him a gift. YES that's right I will admit to it and we all know we do it but we do not admit it because we want to look like we have put so much thought into the gift when in all reality we just waited till the last minute. ha ha
We had a great time at the birthday party my sister out did herself again. It was a carnival theme the girls dressed up as clowns, she had rented carnival games, a pony ride, petting zoo. It was awesome I had a great time just chatting with all of her friends and the extended family. After the party we went back up to Mom and Dad's for a little while then onto the house to watch the games and get some rest, study for our class the next morning.

Sunday got up ran a little bit late but got there. Side story I sent Pastor Liz a text earlier on in the car trip to Huntsville like 5 min into the trip saying we were on our way but we are running a little bit late. We get to church with like 15 min before church starts (We are suppose to be there 30 min before)I put my purse and all our bags in our class and went to get our supply box and I bump into Pastor Liz and she says I just sent you a text I am a little behind this morning ha ha ha. I just thought that was a funny story. Our class was a little rowdy but we seemed to get them under control. We have a little guy in our class who has special needs and is in a wheelchair. One of the new kids kept on asking and asking me what's wrong with him I kept explaining there was nothing wrong with him God created him this way that he is special and that his mind was as sharp as there's was his body just won't do what his brain tells it. Well the rest of the class seemed to get it but oh no not this little girl she just kept on till finally I just said "GIRL" Do not ask me that again. UGHHHHH lol The majority of our kids said there Bible verse since it was after all Memory Verse Sunday. After church we came on to the house because we had so much to do to get ready for the week. Well while we were cleaning house our friend Marvin called to tell us he was coming through Scottsboro from Atlanta and was going to stop by. He got here and we just kept on doing our normal Sunday routine. He was on the computer or going to run errands with Bo while I cleaned and cooked supper. We watched the race ha ha Both Nascar and NHRA. Then we got on the computer and did those yearbook yourself pictures. We did not go to bed till like well after 12. Hubby, myself and Marvin were laughing so hard while these pictures were being made. The names Marvin gets all the credit for them well all except one. He picked out the bestest names ever. Those names just really made the pictures even funnier. Needless to say Marvin staid the night he was up and gone before I got up for the day. ha ha

Today is my Mother's Birthday! Have I ever told you how wonderful this woman is? She has lived through pure poverty and abuse and has not once used that as a crutch. She has used the things she has been through to be a better Mother than hers was, she protected her babies more than she was protected. She loved me and my sister's even when we did not deserve her love. I know there was a time in my life where I kept my mother praying day in and day out. She never gave up on me she prayed me back to the straight and narrow. I can go to my Mother and tell her any and all things she gives the best advice. I now wish looking back on some things that I had listened to her and stopped being friends with some people sooner than I did but that's part of learning I guess. I learned to trust my mother's judgment because I sure do not trust my own. She is just an amazing woman of God and I am so privileged that she is my Mother. I hope that I follow in her footsteps and my children will one day rise up and call me blessed as we do her. She is amazing and I LOVE YOU MOMMA!

Well that is my post to catch you up on all that is "The B Family" Blessings!

T M I = To much information!

So I have been noticing I have been giving to much information on my blogs. I mean our last name was in our blog title and I freely show pictures and tell of what we are doing and what's to come. So I decided to change my blog title and change our profile name up. YIKES my sister was hacked once and some crazy had all kinds of information for her and her spook has kinda woke me up to the fact I am putting my life out there for any crazy to read. Not saying that you lovely 10 that read my blog are crazy but ya know what I am saying. ;o) I LOVE YOU GUYS!

We have had a crazy week this week lots of working, school, homework, laundry, snotty noses. Silas caught my funk and has been a big BOOGER all week long.
We have had a lot of house activity this week finally is what I say to that. We have been at a stand still for three weeks thanks to the land survey folks. We finally got the land survey done this week, the house plans appraised and our loan approved (So not FPU Kristie but ya know) we got our door knobs in that I ordered off eBay (thank you Alli for the tip) we saved 300.00 on door knobs alone just by buying them off eBay.

I went to the Doctor on Thursday afternoon and that the spot removed. Let me just tell you that was the most uncomfortable thing I have done since childbirth. I have to keep a band-aid on it for two weeks. YUCK YUCK I should hear from him Monday or Tuesday on the pathology report! Standing firm on my faith I serve a BIG God who cares about everything down to my little spot. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am blessed coming in and blessed going out! ;o) I love my Aunt Di. When we were kids she drove us to school and every morning we would have to say those confessions and I have to say I have passed this one onto my children. How better to start and finish your day confessing God's blessings and promises over yourself and your children!

Laura, Sean, Mom, and Dad came up this past Thursday to help me purge the storage buildings and our garage. She had a yard sale this past Saturday to help fund her adoption. I needed to get rid of some things and she needed things for her yard sale so I killed two birds with one stone. I got rid of so much stuff and I have to say was very glad to see it go it was like lifting a weight off my shoulders.

Saturday we got up and went into work with Bo and after work we went to Chattanooga to the Drag strip Bo ran a 5,000.00 he was doing so good. He got down to 20 cars and his transmission broke sent us home early. We had a good time though just being together as a family. Not saying we don't like "hanging out" but we have been bringing it on home here lately. I have to say its so much fun to just be with my husband and children and enjoy them. Life is to short and we never know when we will be called to the throne of grace so I am going to take full advantage of my family while they are young and still like me. hee hee

Today we got up got ready for church had our class we had I think 16 in there. After church we went to eat at TGI Fridays then onto Costco then home. I have done laundry just about all day we had dinner with the in-laws like we do almost every Sunday night. Then back home for showers and more laundry! hee hee

Well I am going to wrap this one up I hope everyone had a great week. The rain makes this girl sleepy! Blessings

Sick,Football,Pictures and Seizures!

I guess there has been lots going on but I have not felt like blogging. I have been sick with a nasty cold since the middle of last week. We had football Friday night Rashad is a senior this year and is playing football for the high school. He is number 57. That was his brother's number :o) I don't know that I have ever really blogged about the relationship between my little family and the Tolliver's. Victor was Hubby's best friend and he died in a car wreck 4 years ago. Hubby made a vow at Victor's grave that he would be there for Rashad and take care of him just like he knew that Victor would. Rashad was only 14 when Victor died actually he turned 15 the day after we buried Victor. Right after Victor died Rashad was not very sure about us who can blame him we are a rather crazy bunch. He soon became part of our family the girls and "S" call him bubba and he calls them his sister's and little brother. Every now and then if you catch him at the right angle or if he says something you can see Victor or hear his voice. Rashad is very special and we love him very much.
Hubby and I had shirts made for the girls that say Scottsboro Wildcats with a big number 57 on the back. We have to support our bubba! ;o) We won the game but while there my sister called to tell me my cousin Jeff had a seizure and was being taken to the hospital. I finally got a hold of his girlfriend (my childhood BFF Teresa) and she told me the story and told me she was trying to talk him into going to the ER. So I began to pray and called my Aunt who was driving like a wild woman to Tn to be with her baby. I think sometime around 2:45 on Sat morning they finally saw a Doctor.

Saturday morning Hubby and I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs then we started getting the kids clothes together because we had pictures that afternoon in Huntsville. We finally got out the door and met up with our amazing friend and very talented photographer Tracy Baughman . We met her at bridge street then onto Mosquitoville. ha ha We took some great pictures but where we took them at was some sorta swamp lands and I am not kidding the mosquito's were so big they almost picked Silas up and carried him off for dinner! ha ha They were huge but the odd thing was I did not get bit everyone else did but me. I normally can't even go out with the girls in the morning to the bus without getting eat up. After we left the swamp we went out to research park and had more pictures. I am super excited about them I hope Tracy does not mind but I am going to post a couple of them from her blog here. ;o) I LOVE YOU TRACY!!! After we left there we went to Mikoto's and had dinner "S" hated it and I will not go back until he is a little older. I mean we teach them to be afraid of fire and then expect them to be OK when we practically have our eyebrows singed off at dinner! Not gonna happen!

Sunday we got up got ready for church and headed out we had our class Sunday and I just have to say it again I LOVE OUR CLASS. "S" whole face was swollen from all the mosquito bites God love him. We gave him some benadryl. We had a full house yet again but our times are being cut shorter and shorter since we are going to 3 services soon. Hubby and I are learning how to handle the time crunch we will get it. After church we went straight home I was not feeling the best in the world and had to do the laundry and ironing for the week. My mother and father in law cooked supper for us so we ate over there. I did not eat because either I had so much "SNOT" (sorry) running down my throat or just to hot from ironing all those loads of laundry.
Monday morning I woke up so sick I could hardly get out of bed. "S" was being a booger and I was ready to just give up and lock him in his bedroom but my hubby came home from work a little early and helped me out. I went straight to bed and did not get out of bed till the next morning.
Tuesday I woke up with the world worst headache no matter what I took it would not go away. My mother in law came home and got Silas she took him up to Pisgah to visit with some of the family's friends. It always drives me crazy when people say I can not believe he is Hubby's baby all that blond hair. I mean come on people it happens all the time I have tons of friends who have blond hair and there parents both have dark hair. It hurts my feelings like they are saying I was some sorta floozy and that "S" is not his. COME ON be for real. Anyway had to get that off my chest the people up there were just all I can not believe he is "Hubby's" boy! ughhhh
Hubby took "B" to gymnastics and "M" to the grocery while I slept all afternoon. "B" has learned to do the splits and is learning a round-off back-hand-spring. Blame that was fast ha ha I figured she would just be learning to do a hand stand. hee hee I staid in the bed the whole day finally got to sleep.
Woke up today Wednesday feeling so much better slight headache but nothing like yesterday. "S" woke up with a funky nose and just real cranky. We have not really done anything today but clean the house up and do some laundry. I cooked Chicken Spaghetti tonight. It was a great little easy recipe I made enough for my Father in law because my Mom in law is over in Florence visiting my sister in law and her son!
Well I am laying in the bed watching little women with my girls. They have grown to love this movie as much as I do. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Be praying for me I have to go have a "MOLE" removed tomorrow. The mole is one that looked "suspicious" to my dermatologist a few weeks back. Its not that big of a deal except this one is in a really not so great place to be removed. My procedure is scheduled for 2:30 tomorrow after noon keep me in your prayers. Blessings

P.S. My blog will be going private in the next few days. If you would like to be able to continue reading this blog please leave your email in a comment and I will add you to my list! Thank you!

Not so much happening!

Well there has not really been much going on but school, gymnastics, house work and learning to spend more time in the word. I will be the first to admit with how busy our lives have been I have not been sitting down with the word and really studying. I am making a conscious effort to get into the word and study because that's really what is going to help me with these crazy days ahead. I know that the Father is preparing me for great things that are changing in my life. I have been reading some notes I wrote from last year's women's conference at our church "Radiance" I love it when I can go back months even years later and still get something from these people who poured into my life. I was reading this morning and something stood out to me. "Favor will bring you to a place where some won't like you. Favor brings you to places where you will be tested. Favor will put you in a lions den. How we react to this "lions den" is how we receive our blessings."
I don't know if anyone needed to hear this but I just felt like sharing what I was meditating on right now. I could seriously write a whole blog on these notes but I won't. ;o)

"B" started gymnastics on Tuesday she loves every single minute of it. She came home flipping and doing back bends. I hear she cried for me the first part of the class but warmed up to the instructor and the other 5 kids quickly. She is taking a class from a local woman who is just a precious soul she has battled and beat cancer. She was the cheerleaders sponsor here in Scottsboro and is known for her ability to teach tumbling. The lady that she works with has a list of credentials a country mile long so needless to say we are super excited that "B" got in with them. I got a call yesterday asking me how "B" liked the class and to tell me that she was very powerful in her tumbling for her age, who knows maybe we will have a little Nastea Liukin on our hands! ;o) I have always loved gymnastics from the times I went to watch friends of ours take it in Huntsville they always looked so cool on those uneven bars. ;o)

I have to tell you guys how proud I am of "M" pulled only 2 cards in the last couple of weeks. We have been talking to her about self control and that a sure sign of maturity is being able to control her tongue and her feet. My best friend is writing yet another WONDERFUL book and its all about the fruits of the spirit I can not wait till everyone else gets to read it. Allison Bass Osborne is such a talented artist and writer. She has a heart for children and has written two of the best little children's books. Here is a link to Allison's books Family tree series
So we are super excited and glad to see the father working in her and helping her along in her day.

Onto the house we are just waiting on the survey guys to come out they were suppose to be here last Friday and they still have not been here. I pray that they get here today so we can get all this going asap. I am slowly deciding what color's I want in the house. I know I am going to decorate "S" bedroom in old fighter style airplanes and love the pottery barns bedding. There is this great little ceiling fan that is in the shape of a airplane that "S" just loves when we go to home depot and every time he hears or sees an airplane he goes nuts. Labor Day weekend!

Our lives right now are just so so busy and this weekend proved to be just as busy! Friday night we were getting ready to head out to the ballfields when a rough storm with lots of cloud to ground lightening rolled through. We just decided that we were not going to take the kids out in that and even if it stopped raining I was not about to get my kids out in wet hot muggy Alabama weather. So we decided we would get groceries and grab some Chinese food. I think we got in the bed at like 11:00 that night.
Saturday Hubby had to work and we had plans for a long day so we all got shower's "M" this morning gave "S" a bath and got him dressed. I mean diaper, shirt, shorts, socks, shoes. I was very impressed with her this morning and she was very proud of herself she is such a big helper. We headed to the store to wait till Hubby got off work. I ended up working answering the phones selling pool chemicals all that jazz. We got out of there around 11:30 and headed to Tammy's shop to get hair cuts first up was Hubby then "S" then Me. OK anyone that knows me knows I have full out panic attacks when things start to change up. I do one of two things I will go hide in my shell (like we discussed earlier) or I will start freaking out breathing hard and break out into sweats. I can not make appointments to get my hair cut the spirit has to hit me and I sit down in the chair and tell her to just make one quick chunk then I normally am OK. Well today I decided it was time to cut it off I mean I got 4 inches cut off the back! The way my hair is and it always grows like this is my back grows into this tail like flip out mess. So I cut the whole tail end of my hair off. Its about up to my chin all around I really really like it. I am going this week to get it colored I may do my normally fall flava( you know you just laughed) of red chunky low lights! I don't know yet but I will post pictures whenever I decide to bust the camera out again! Then after we went to get a late lunch we headed to the square for the "First Monday" festivities on the square. Our store was one of the sponsor's and my family here in the Boro sure does love cars we entered like 3 or 4. So we walked around looking at the cars and then decided to take the kids around the square looking at the things people brought to sale. We stopped and talked to everyone we knew and folks we did not know that were shaking our hand and saying "one more to go, we are voting for your Dad" that took a while then we went back to the car show talked to all the folks around City Hall heard the results of the car show went back to the store loaded everything up for Monday at the drag strip then headed back out to the house for a little bit the girls wanted to swim and I had to brush the pool down before I could let them in. That took forever ha ha I cleaned the pool longer than they swam. We headed out to town to look for things for the new house. Then back home to grill and hang out with my in laws to watch the ballgames. Bama won and so did Auburn so all in all in Alabama it was a great day for football.
Sunday we got up got the kids dressed sent my girls to church with my in-laws because they wanted to go to Art Sunday and we teach our class for Second Service so there was no way we could get back to go and make it my parents house for lunch. We had a great little service a full service our class reach capacity again there were 18 in there with us. "S" did wonderful in his class he cried a little when we dropped him off and a few min before bayou started. Marvin came into our class ha ha and helped then after church he followed us to Grant to pick up the girls at the bottom of the mountain at 72. Marvin left his car there and we headed up the mountain to my parents for a day of eating, laughing, talking, card playing, joker playing, yelling (that's how my parents, sisters and myself talk). We had the best time the kids played outside the majority of the day we grilled out a great lunch. The boys played cards laughed and talked all day long. The girls sat around talking about what's going on in our lives right now and gave opinions as we always do. It was a wonderful time and we did not leave till 11:30 that night. We dropped Marvin off at his car then headed back to the boro we got home at 12:00 AM EXHAUSTION I tell you!
Monday we got up and my hubby made a great breakfast then we headed outside to help my in laws in the yard they were trimming bushes and planting fall flowers. The girls planted with my Mother in law while Hubby and I raked up everything my father in law trimmed off the tree's bushes vines. Then we came in took another shower ha ha and headed to home-depot and walmart to get something Hubby needed for his race car. Then to the shop to get our rig and off we went to the drag strip. It was a long long day. Hubby did a great job he got down to 5 cars and was thrown out of his lane and the car slowed down. It was a late night we got home around 2:30 this morning. I could not go straight to bed I had to lay the girls clothes out for today iron them sign planners and put a load of towels on. I got into the bed looked at the clock and it was 3:30 I told Hubby do not wake me up in the morning you need to walk the girls to the bus.
Tuesday I slept till 9:57 and that's all that has happened except "S" sleeping till 11:00 and woke up in a wonderful mood! Going to do laundry I have a ton of it and ironing to do. Plus "B" starts gymnastic lessons today with a family friend and we are so excited! Well I hope everyone had a great weekend! HA HA This was a long boring post! Blessings!
