Late July 4th Blog

We left the campground early like 6:30 Wednesday July 2nd to head back to the apartment. We got home around 7:30 a.m and Bo had to head into work because Pop had to go pick up a pool kit or something in Huntsville. So he basically just pulled into the driveway parked the motor home and hopped into his truck and headed to the store. I unloaded just about everything and cleaned the place up so that my sister and her family would have somewhere to stay for the long weekend. I think the only thing I left in our home on wheels was the cooler and I can not pick that thing up. Its a big ol cooler and was full of sodas and ice.
The girls and I unloaded our bags once we got all our stuff back into the apartment and then I started washing clothes they headed up to Granny's house to get there Granny fix. They love that woman and I have to say she probably loves them even more than they love her. THAT IS HUGE cause my kids would pick Granny over Momma any day! ;o) We got the clothes all washed and the apartment all cleaned and headed to the pool. :o) That is pretty much how we spend our day's when we are not cleaning or doing something else we are in the pool splish splashing around.

Thursday July 3rd my sweet hubby turned 33. He always says that I make to big of deals about birthdays so this year ( the first time in the 10 years we have been together 1 year of dating 9 years of marriage)that I did not make a huge deal of his birthday. We just got him these lights for the motor home he has been wanting for a long time. The kids made him cards and I ordered him Pizza. ;o) It did not phase him a bit that I did not decorate the house or make him wear a crazy birthday boy pin. ha ha ha I guess my sweet hubby has finally outgrown birthday parties. I LOVE Birthday's in my family we celebrate every year as a family I guess. We don't have parties normally that we have friends over but we always get together and eat dinner together and give each other cards. My older sister and I have started something this year that I hope to keep going. She gave me for my 30th birthday a card that said Happy 90th birthday so in return a few weeks later on her 32 I gave her one that said Happy 90th as well. It cracks me up and I Hope we keep that going forever!

Friday morning July 4th Laura, Sean, Addie, CT, Mom, Dad and Marvin got to the house. We hit the pool and staid there till lunch time then we headed down to the boat dock to do a little tubing! Laura rode that sucker and I have to say it was so funny watching her cause let me just tell y'all about JesusLovinMomma herself she has always been a go get'er she never let fear hold her back. She always was first to get up on the ski's when we were kids first to jump off "THE ROCK" ( a cliff on the side of the mt that you land in the river)So it was so fun to watch this grown version of my big sister doing it again that was until the wipe out. She was riding the tube and was trying to jump the waves in our huge 4 seater big Bertha and well its kinda hard to do that but she was doing just fine until Sean Slung her and She did a cartwheel into the water and after she hit the water she barrel rolled 3 times on top of the water. We think she broke a rib don't get me wrong its not funny that she broke a rib but if you could have seen that girl floppin in the water like a dish rag you would crack up to. Marvin got on there and rode around Sean slung him off too. That was great stuff cause anyone that knows our Marvin King getting his hair in the river water is not something he really thinks of as fun. So we had great time cutting up with him. Back to the pool we went then the boys went to the big fryer and Bo made Hot Wings and Waffle Fries. We ate then swam some more before our parent went home the kids went to bed. I went to bed as well I had taken some of Bo's cough meds the night before and I was up all night long with my heart about to beat out of my chest. So I went to bed while Bo, Sean, Laura and Marvin sat outside under the canopy and talked till early into the morning.

Saturday Marvin had to get up and head back into Huntsville for a bit to move. He is moving into an apartment with his friend John, Jon I don't know him so don't know how to spell it. Marvin left and maybe had time to get to County Park Road when Randi and Matt pull up with there new puppy Bear. I hate that they missed each other. We actually got to know Marvin at Randi and Matt's wedding he was in the wedding party with us. So we hated that they were missing there good friend. Well we hit the pool and the lounge chairs. Mom and Dad got back to the house and joined us at the pool. We played pool volley ball ate pizza rolls for lunch then that night Bo grilled shrimp and Steaks it was such a great meal. We always love it when we get together because we know my amazing Hubby is going to grill. I know I know He is good looking and can cook. I am blessed. ;o)
ONTO the Miley story. Ha Ha Around dinner Randi says Lisa have you seen Miley (our 8 month old Shi Tzu) I said No we look around No Miley we see Otis but no Miley. Randi gets up and starts lookin for her in the house Bo goes to his Mom's No Miley. So when nobody comes up with her I realize this is not good. So off we go looking for her everywhere we could find. I was up and down our street screaming Miley here girl. My girls are crying there eyes out up in there bedroom with the window open screaming Miley Miley here girl come home Miley. Randi and Laura hop on our Gator drive up and down the street screaming for her. They drove over to our land NO MILEY. My Mom in law gets on the phone calls all our neighbors because there is a nasty storm a brewing and we were so upset that she was going to be outside in the rain worried she would be scared to death. Well Randi goes home very upset Mom and Dad head home worried sick about our precious puppy. I put two little girls to bed crying for there puppy. Bo and I went to bed neither Bo nor I slept hardly at all that night. Marvin called and said he would be back Sunday Morning so when I hear a banging on the door I am thinking its either Marvin or something that has found Miley so I jump up and out of the bed run to the girls room to look out the window. Did not see a car but I heard something move in Bella's closet. I was worried our winter guest (rats) were back but now instead of our motor home were now in our house. I slung the door open and out runs Miley. She never barked never scratched never NOTHING! I fell to the ground crying happy tears screamed for Bo and My sister who was knocking on the door. We all were happy but laughing our butts off that she was in the closet the whole time. I take Miley over to my Mother in laws house to show the girls and I wake them up to Miley licking there faces. Bella sits up and says Mommy you found her. I said yes she was in your closet. Bella says "Oh Yeah Momma I put her in there cause Bear was licking her privates" Bahahaha So there is the Miley story everyone has been waiting on! The things that happen at the Boatner Ranch!
Sunday we got up made the kids some breakfast sipped on coffee while we waited on Mom Dad and Marvin to get back to the Boro so we could you guessed it hit the pool. Our pool got more use this weekend than its gotten in years before we moved in. Bo grilled some Hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwurst for a late lunch early dinner. We pretty much staid in the pool played more volleyball talked. Shanna Fuller stopped by for a few min to see us then she headed back to Huntsville for work! She had just gotten back from camp and I had not seen her in a few weeks so I was in need of a hug from that beautiful soul. Well everyone left but Marv he staid late talking and watching So you think you can dance on YouTube. Ha ha We know we are big dorks Bo and I have not stopped watching the video's Marvin showed us. That show is great I can't believe we have not seen it before! We are addicted now! Marvin left around 11:00 Bo and I were sad to see the weekend go but we were completely exhausted. There ya have it folks my 4th of July better late then never blog! Enjoy the picture ha ha I take a ton!

Camping and Jennifer's Wedding!

Well we got home from the beach on Sunday night and that Monday I unloaded the Yukon and our suit cases put away what needed to be put away then washed the rest of our clothes up and packed things back up to head down to the campground. Yep that's right we left the Monday we got back from the beach to the campground till July 2nd!
We hung out at the pool the kids rode there bikes we sat around the fire at night. We just have a really good time when we are there. The kids get to go ride there bikes all around and have a playground to play at with all there campground buddies. The girls have made friends with some kids who's grandparents work there so they see them every single day. Silas and I hang out at the pool and float around while his sister's are doing whatever it is they wanted to do that day. On Friday June 27th one of my very best friends who I have known since she was born was getting married in Knoxville. So I loaded the kids and there bags and took them to our friends the Lands house. They were spending the day Friday with them staying the night and then going to VBS at Mrs. Tammy's church all day Saturday. So i dropped them off and headed back to the house to get a shower pack our bag and iron our clothes for the wedding and met my parents at our store. Bo and I just decided to ride with my parents. So we headed to Knoxville for Jennifer's wedding. I have to say that was one interesting ride with my parents. I think the funniest thing that happened in the car was when we stopped at Wendy's to get some lunch and take a potty break somewhere outside of Cleavland, TN. We ordered our food and my parents ordered there's we get back in the car and as we are about to hit the interstate I look out and see this Man dressed as a woman sitting on the guard rail putting on its blue wig yes ma'am I said blue wig OH I LOST IT I was laughing so hard. Then my father looks in his bag of food and realized he did not order what he thought he was ordering. He got a double stack burger thinking I guess it was one of Wendy's bigger burgers. Ha Ha so he kept calling it a bite of burger. Now that I type it its not that funny I think it was one of those times you just had to be there. We were in my Mom's brand new Camry and using my daddy's Christmas gift his TomTom. Well dad assured us he had put in the right address for our hotel. Well we get into Knoxville and our TomTom never told us to take an exit and we were passing West Knoxville quick so finally TomTom tells us to turn here so we do and we follow where it tells us to go and we are in the ghetto of Knoxville I mean there were police every where with there lights on. Finally Mr. TomTom says you have arrived at your destinations ummm I don't think Jennifer is getting married at the Rescue Mission. That is where the TomTom said our hotel was. We have ever since given my Daddy up the Road about his TomTom is a TardTard. Thank Goodness I had my laptop with me so I looked it up and got us to our hotel with two hours before the wedding that was just five min up the road. So we all check into our rooms and decide to take a nap before we start getting ready. We nap and then got all pretty for my friends wedding. I have talked a lot about Lori and Jennifer in my blogs. We have been friends with them well as far back as I can remember they have been in my life and I can remember from when I was 5. We have been through some crazy times together and some great times together. We never spent a summer without them. We always have a great time when we are together even now. We can always count on the younger two of our bunch Ran and Jenn to do something funny to crack us up. It was kinda an emotional day because well the last of the Win Reyn girls was getting married. So we arrived at the wedding chapel and it was beautiful but HOOOOOT. As soon as I walk up Lori says please go get my camera and take pictures of EVERYTHING for me. So I went into shutterbug mode I snapped and snapped and snapped the wedding was outside in a tent and the reception was outside. Jennifer was driven from the chapel to the tent in a horse drawn carriage. She was so beautiful and looked just like a Disney princess she loves her some Cinderella and that' is who she looked like. ;o) Randi the baby sister was in the wedding party and was suppose to sing at the wedding but the music never worked out and I think it was a great thing because during the ceremony the sound kept going in and out and Randi would have sounded horrible with the sound going in and out. Let me tell you our family has many talents but Randi is the shining star of our family with that beautiful voice of her's. She sings with our Music leader's at church on the main mic often and has sang at so many weddings. She has an amazing voice and I just know God has got big things in store for that voice of her's. We get Jenn all married to Mr. Grant Davis and then head to the reception. I took more pictures and Randi sang a song from Jennifer to her parents by Natalie Grant called always be your baby. She did such a great job even though she had no mic she did great. We had a great dinner and fun with our family and friends taking fun pictures and just being ourselves. We left and went back to our hotel. Randi and Matt came down from there room to ours and we hung out and watched some TV in our room then it was bedtime.

We got up Saturday morning checked out of our hotel and went to Cracker Barrel to eat some blueberry pancakes. Then we headed to Pigeon Forge to the outlet malls. We had a great time shopping again. :o) I love the outlet malls. We got some great deals on Kenzie some clothes bless her heart she has hit another growth spurt and has outgrown all her shoes and her clothes. She is so blame tall. Then after we left the outlet malls we headed to the brand new Bass Pro Shops. I LOVE that place and I loved it even more when I realized there was a Starbucks in it. Daddy and Bo shopped till they dropped in there and Mom and I even found us a few things. I got a new HOT PINK bass pro shop's visor Mom got some new shoes. ;o)

Then we headed back to the boro but not before we hit the Outback for supper. It was so good Mom and I shared a hamburger steak and wow it was out of this world. We get back to the store and Bo and I get in our car tell my parents bye then headed to the campground. The Lands had come down after VBS and the twins were hanging with there boyfriends while Tammy and Dennis were watching the kids. We got back to the campground around 11:00 then sat up for a few more hours talking to Tammy and Dennis. Then it was bedtime. Then we hung out at the campground until that next Wednesday Morning. Tuesday I took Bella into town to get her eyes checked and new glasses. Well That is all for that week. I promise I am going to catch this thing up. If I have to blog all day today. ;o) I hope everyone is enjoying the late edition. ;o) Better late then never!

Florida Pictures New Blog @ bottom!

There has been lots of things going on and I would think I need to blog about that but I would just not be in the mood. These past few weeks we have done a lot of great things. As you saw from my pictures we went to the beach for a long weekend with one of my best friends Misty Davis. We had such a great time just laying out on the beach or actually the Boys laid out on the beach while Misty and I kept up with the kids. We did not mind cause we got to stand in the ocean while we watched the younger of the two Cassie and Silas who are just months apart in age splash around or play in the sand. We got there on Thursday morning and decided to go eat at that throwing rolls place I forget what its called now. Ha Ha I did not think it was worth all the hype. The rolls were awesome but the food not so much! After we ate we headed right to our condo. We staid in Island Winds on the fifth floor. We had such a great view of the ocean from our balcony. We waisted no time we unloaded our bags from the cars threw them in our rooms and headed to the beach for some after ocean splashing and laying out. We hung out on the beach for a few hours then we decided to head back up to the condo to get showered and ready to go eat and then to the grocery store to get some food for the weekend. We ate at this great little beach restaurant live bait. Then we headed to Wal-Mart and got stuff for lunch and b'fast. Back to the condo unpacked our bags and grocery's. Then we put the kids to bed and the Adults stayed up on the balcony talking.
We got up on Friday and ate a pop-tart then headed for the beach. We had rented seats and umbrella's for the weekend so we right to our seats and got everyone ready for the day at the beach. Well we were not in the ocean no more than an hour and then everyone starts screaming get out of the water shark shark. I laughed at first then I saw lifeguards running up the beach screaming. Then we look out and you could see the shark about 20 feet from shore swimming straight down the beach. About 20 min had passed and the lifeguard comes back by and says OK he is gone back in the water. Well Misty and I both decided we were not allowing our kids back in the ocean for the rest of the day except maybe to there waist. Not even 30 min later here they come again get out of the water get out of the water that blame bull shark was back again and this time you could really see it just swimming in a straight line down the beach. So We tell the older girls to go get in the pool while Misty and I made sandwiches the guys and the younger kids were playing in the sand. We come back with lunch for everyone and the guys say they had been kicked out again for the blame shark. So we all eat and are fixing to go back down to the beach and here they come again. We got kick out of the ocean four times in a matter of an afternoon for a bull shark. Needless to say we did not go back in the ocean "SWIMMING" again. We headed back inside to take shower's and iron our clothes to get ready for the famous beach pictures. We went down to Gulf Shores State Park and took some pictures but it was not the right time yet everyone was squinting there eyes and fussy cause it was so hot. So we went to eat can't remember the restaurants name. Then after that we headed back to the beach and this time got the money shots. It was so funny the pictures look like a Happy little family but that was not what was taking place I was hacked off cause Silas was running around Bo was mad at me cause I was mad at Silas and the girls would not sit still long enough they wanted to just playing the sand. UGHHHH BUT we got the shots and I guess that's all that matters. We decided the next night that we were not going to go out to eat that Misty and I were going to go buy some shrimp and Bo was going to grill it for us on the Condos grill down by the beach. So we got up headed right to the beach on Saturday and we had jelly fish warnings. So no ocean for the kids again. They played in the sand while Misty and I laid out. We were on the beach pretty much all day till the storms came up and then Misty and I went to buy some fresh shrimp and to the grocery to get the other stuff to go with it. Then came back to lay out after the storm blew over and I decided I was going to catch jelly fish. Kelsey (misty and heath's oldest) and I caught over 40 jellies in like 15 min. We were having a great time catching them and burring them. ha ha We went in almost ad sundown from the beach for the last day and started cooking supper. Bo did wonderful as always and we had the best food we had while we were there and my sweet hubby made it. After dinner we took the kids to go buy there hermit crabs and then back down to the pool for one final swim before we had to wash and pack there bathing suits up for the ride back home. We got our car mostly loaded that night before we went to bed so we could get out of there early and hit up the outlet's in Foley. We got up on Sunday checked out and told the Davis clan bye and we headed to eat lunch then hit up the outlet mall. Oh Bo and I had a great time we shopped shopped and shopped. Then we went to the Coleman outlet so I could get a close line for the campground. ha ha Yes our motor home has a washing machine/dryer in it but we can't figure out how to get it working so I have been using bungee cords to dry the clothes in the motor home after I dry it. ha ha Well we got on the road back home around 4:00 and we ended up in stand still traffic for 2 hours Bo was not happy. Then we get almost home in Ft. Payne and Bo gets pulled over and given a ticket for going 60 in a 45. WRONG it was set on 55 when we topped that hill I know it does not matter he was speeding but he was not going 60 we just had left a red light and we were in the Yukon fully loaded down not the sporty Acura TL that could have done that. So needless to say my husband was very angry said some really ugly things but I thought it best to just let him have at it and not say a word because Bo does not get mad like that often and when he does you have to just let him be. So there is the blog about our Florida trip. ;o)

Nothing much going on!

There has not been much of anything going on with us lately. Ha Ha We have either at the campground hanging out or at home lounging by the pool. Its just typical summer time at the Boatner Ranch.

We are still living in our old apartment behind the in laws and its turning out to be a great time in our lives and our kids lives. They love being this close to there Grandparents and we love seeing them having so much fun!

We decided a few weeks back that we are just going to be building a house. We have looked and looked and looked and have not found anything we like much less love with the amount of land we want. So we decided we were just going to build a house behind my in-laws out in Lake View Shores. It took us weeks to find but we finally found a house plan that Bo and I both agree on and are totally in love with. Its such a beautiful home and we can not wait till its time to break ground. That will be sometime at the end of July.

So that's the latest and greatest that's been going on. I will blog in a day or so about our beach trip we just got back from. I hope everyone is having a great week. Blessings
