Update!

We got beat the following round and headed back to Bama not before stopping off and eating a really good sit down meal. Ummm well I got the dreaded bubble and thought I was going to die. ha ha not really but breathing is not easy when you get one of those. Anyway we got home late and got our kids in the bed. Hubby and I were just happy to be in our own house with our own bed and take long showers. Those of you who have motor homes or camper's know that you can't take a long shower because the water supply is limited.

Also I wanted to clarify something for everyone. When my blog is locked down its not that I am trying to keep anyone out I am editing spelling errors or fixing where I have typed someones full name! Anyone that knows me know I can't spell and Hubby is sitting here cracking up at me because I keep using his name. I just wanted to make that clear for those that are feeling like I am being ugly. Just clarifying!

Oh yeah and My laptop bit the dust again. boooo dell stinks! Hubby wants to go buy a new one but I keep telling myself for the price of that new laptop I can furnish my new house with just about all the closet doors. So I am going to just keep coming back and forth from my Mother in laws and check it a few times a day. I get more done without it. So this is kinda a good thing. Well I best get back to the house "I left my iron on" ha ha That is sooooooo a quote from "S" favorite movie Hairspray but its true. I gotta get back I think we are going camping this weekend. Thanks to my friend Jordan ha ha she has put me in the mood for a campfire! I will try my best to keep the blog updated while I live without my laptop. Tomorrow is Election day so get out and vote oh and pray for the whole "B Family" as we end this long journey one way or the other. May his kingdom come and his will be done on this local and national election. Blessings

We raced the Million!

And are not millionaires. ha ha Hubby's Daddy called yesterday morning to tell hubby to enter the big race. I of course was stressed out because when we came to Memphis I was under the understanding we were only going to race the gamblers race and the twin 30's. So when Hubby got off the phone and told me what his Daddy told him my tummy went into knots. The kids and I decided we were going to have a day out of Daddy's way we would ride the golf kart out in the fields, we would play cards in the motor home, we would go watch our daddy race. Whatever we could do to keep ourselves busy and out of Daddy's way this is after all a huge deal. I prayed all day for my hubby for peace, clarity of mind, speeding reaction times, and most of all protection. Those of you who have hubby's do a not so normal sport or like to live on the wild side will understand. Its always an act of faith for me when my hubby walks out of the motor home and straps himself into that race car that goes zero to 131 mph in 5.12 seconds. It's always a day of prayer but today was a day of more prayer than usual! ha ha He was racing for a MILLION DOLLARS! I started thinking of all I could do with that money. I would pay for my house outright, pay for the completion of my sister's adoption, buy my little sister a house plus much much more. We went red first round which just means Hubby went before the light turned green so off to the buy back window he went and bought back into the second round. So the next round some man went red on him. So that put us into the third round well while Hubby was staging his starter went out and he had to go buy another one! WOW we have spent lots of money this weekend! ughhhh Anyway Third round he guessed his car would go 5.12 and a perfect light would be 500 well he was 499 red and ran dead on his dial in with a 1. If he would have been anywhere in the green he would have made it to the next round. Oh well we went to bed with even less money than we woke up with! ha ha ha

This morning so far he has won 1st round while "S" and I are laying around. I am so happy I have this laptop and my Verizon card because I was able to watch church this morning! Pastor Mark brought a great word this morning, the one thing he said and forgive me if I butcher this quote " When you are willing to change the things you should not change you end up changing the things you should not." This went right along with his sermon but to me it spoke of lots of things. Like if you are willing to change who you are to be with different crowds(good or bad) of people then eventually you are going to become one of those crowds (good or bad). If you are willing to change your moral fiber and your whole thought process because of a certain political party well you get it. It reminded me of the saying "You have got to stand for something or you will fall for anything" I read something the other night in my notes and it nailed me

1 Corinthians 15:33 (Amplified Bible)Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionship's (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.
In another version it reads "Bad company corrupts good morals" BAM right between the eyes. I am not perfect BY NO STRETCH of the imagination but Christ that lives in me is perfect. PRAISE GOD I am able to wake up and start over with a clean slate each and every morning. I may let the Father down and I may even let other people down but that's just it I am human I make mistakes. I have never ever claimed to have lived a perfect life. I will say it over and over and over. I am so undeserving of the blessings God has given me. I did all the things most teenager's do when they are young and stupid. I even have the "GASP" Horrific dreaded dum dum dum Tattoo" ha ha I say all of this for those few that read my blog do not come away from this spot thinking I think more highly of myself. I think I am a southern girl who mess's up on a daily basis but is forgiven, bought with and paid for with the precious blood of Jesus that he freely gave for me on Calvary's cross. My little thought process today.

So Hubby is up running second round and we just heard of one of our fellow racer's rig (top kick and trailer) burning up last night. Praise the Lord nobody was hurt but he did loose thousands of dollars worth of equipment and did some major damage to his trailer and cars inside. I told Hubby that on the way home tonight we will make sure we have everything unplugged so we do not have the same fate. Well I hope everyone is having a great week. I know we have had a great time here in Memphis and glad to see it coming to an end. I wanna go home and check out my hole in the ground! Get all my paperwork signed for permits and get our port a potty delivered! bahaha I am so excited about stupid stuff! OH OH OH "S" has learned a few things I am not proud of this weekend such as "shut up" and hitting. ummm I have pulled out my book but and reading again but ummm any quick tips on what to do? I have popped him in the mouth when he told me to shut up and he kept on saying it and kept on saying it I kept on spanking him and the more I spanked the more he said it. I finally just sat him in the floor in a corner and he went to sleep. I need some advice or an exorcist! Because I am really at my end with this mess. I guess I gotta watch my mouth because I know he is mocking me and his daddy! We say shut up all the time I did not realize how ugly it sounded until I heard it coming out of my precious little boys mouth! ughhh OK I am ending this post before I keep going and going and going. Write more from the great state of Alabama better yet my home sweet home! Blessings!

We own it & Memphis!

Well we do not own Memphis but we do own the land now and we have closed on our construction phase of our loan. I was so super excited to sit there and sign all those thousands of papers! See we are so fortunate that Hubby's parents owned the property behind them and told us we could have it to build. Today it was so funny to be sitting across from that great ol big lawyer office table. Anyone that has ever closed on a house or gone through some sort of legal proceedings knows what I am talking about. Anyway back to the story my Mother and Father in law were sitting across signing over there land and I realized yet again how blessed I am. Those of you who have known me for years know where I come from! ha ha Let me just say The "W" Sister's have been very blessed and come along way. My in-law must really love us because they are willing to put us up for free in there house till our house gets built on the land that they bought paid for and now deeded over to Hubby and I. God is just amazing he loved me and took care of me even when I was living a life full of sin and disobedience. Even when I was not faithful the father was faithful to love and protect me and give me much more than I deserve. TRUST ME I DO NOT DESERVE ANY OF IT! So we got it all signed and Praise Jesus my Mom in law did not have to go anywhere she staid around to play with "S" to keep him happy. We have started this great little game ha ha. I carry all the kids wallet pictures and pictures of there cousins (1st,2nd,3rd) ha ha I got a big family, aunts. Silas likes to play the name game. He gets the whole stack of pictures and tries to remember everyone's names and he actually does a really good job. So mom in law stuck around and they played the name game. I am so stinking excited now we have gotten this done we can fill in all of our permits and things well after we get the whole basement dug out! Hubby's uncle is taking FOREVER ughhhh FAMILY! ha ha That turd told me yesterday it would take about a year for us to be moved in to the house. I told Hubby and he was like nut-uh my Daddy in law thought it was funny because he knew he was cutting up with me. ummm NOT FUNNY FOLKS! :o) Speaking of finished houses I got to get a sneak peek of my BF's house and its AMAZING! She has had this vision and talked about it now for year's and now its finally happening. She should be moving her family in around Halloween! The cabinets are exquisite I love my cabinet maker from Flat Rock but may have to get a "QUOTE" from "A's" She really is into the old antique decor she loves French county style. I have said it before we are the best of friends but when it comes to designing our house's we are so opposite its ridiculous. We get a good chuckle out of how different we found we are in this whole building process. I know God has timed this so perfectly because now "A" is moving in just as we are starting our adventure and she is going to be a wonderful help even more than she already has been.
Well we left closing and picked up the girls from school took them to the library to get some books for our long trip to Memphis and for our 5 days here. We sent notes ahead of time to the girls teachers telling them they would be out of town Thur and Friday to please send there work for the week and there homework so they would not get behind. We have the best teacher's they gladly obliged and sent it all. "B" of course is already done but "M" I would not let her do hers just yet because she is grounded for a seriously bad day on Monday. She has to sit in the motor home and read and do home work all weekend. I know this sounds a little extreme but umm TRUST ME this punishment fits the crime. NOT a good time to be a fly on the B Family wall.
We headed out around 12:00 and got to Memphis around 4:30 ok for those of you who have been to Memphis you will understand this. Laura and I brought our girls up here back around the first of the year to see Hannah Montana and the Jonas brothers and while we were walking to and from our car we were approached by a homeless guy asking us for money and the police saw this going on and called him over to them. Well Laura I believe we saw the same guy today. We were at a gas station and he was going from car to car asking for money we of course only have debit cards and he reeked of liquor so we knew better. I was so dang freaked out being in this area because any of you that have watch the first 48 know that 80% of those are right here in Memphis. Ughh I was so freaking out it was not even funny. Hubby was dying laughing at me. I had the girls laying down "S" in his chair and I was sitting in the floor basically rocking back and forth in the fetal position. bahaha not really but you get the point I was feeling stress. Well anyway we are here at Memphis Motor Sports Park ready to have a blast. The weather here is amazing we have all the windows open in the motor home with NO GENERATOR. ha ha Its awesome. I hope my next post is titled we did it we won the Million Dollar Race. Do me a favor please remember my husband and the rest of these racer's in your prayers. I have been praying a hedge of protection around and about them as they go down that track. I realize its a crazy sport and that it could be very dangerous but he has speed in his blood. Well I best get in bed its not 10:00pm and we have a very long day of time trials and racing. Blessings

OK I don't mean to blog twice today!

However I was ironing clothes and "listening" to The View and they had Bill Maher on there show talking about his new movie called "Religulous" in this movie he is pretty much goes around questioning and making fun of peoples faith saying that we are talking to our "imaginary friend". I knew that Elizabeth would not take that She did say to him "your Mocking my faith" However I was very proud of Sherry for not laying down and letting this man knock her faith. OK here is a quote from the new poster child for Atheism this one really hacked me off.

It has been my pleasure over the last decade and a half to make organized religion one of my favorite targets. I often explained to people, "I don't need to make fun of religion, it makes fun of itself." And, then I go ahead and make fun of it too, just for laughs.

With religious fanatics like George Bush and Osama bin Laden now taking over the world, it seemed to me in recent years that this issue -- this cause of debunking the man behind the curtain -- needed to have a larger, more insistent and focused forum than late night television. I wanted to make a documentary, and I wanted it to be funny. In fact, since there is nothing more ridiculous than the ancient mythological stories that live on as today's religions, this movie would try to be a real knee slapper. Unless, of course, you're religious, then you might not like it.

I ABSOLUTLEY DISAGREE with Mr. Atheism I believe Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen! I believe in a God who cares of about all things and I have been through things in my life that if there were not a God I would not be alive. I can not deny what God has done in my life nor will I ever try. I serve a mighty mighty God who said Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: Utoh Mr. Maher you just mocked my GOD. So according to Mr. Maher I am ridicules and I have an imaginary friend. So to that I say I am very proud to be ridicules and have an "imaginary friend". OK no more blogging no more Internet lots more packing and cleaning and getting ready for our trip. Blessings

Jehovah Jireh my provider!

So last week "M" teacher sent home a note telling us she had discussed how the dollar is loosing its value. She also called to tell us that "M" seemed to be having a bad day after they talked about this that she thought a few of the children were really upset over it. I was at the church when I got the call about it and we started talking about how in public schools they are not allowed to teach that we do not have to worry about these things because we know that God will provide for us. Am I saying that we can just go out and spend spend spend? NO we do have to be faithful stewards of the blessings God has given us but we do not panic like the rest of the country because we believe that Jehovah Jireh is our Provider. I wanted to share two verses that have brought Hubby and I through some rough times financially and emotionally!

In Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall abundantly supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

My sister and I were talking the other day about our planet and all that the media is saying about how if we keep going the rate we are then planet will burn up! ummm Well "Heaven and earth will pass away but My words shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35). I don't know what in the world possessed me to write this out but I have been hearing so much of oh we are going into a depression. Well we may be but we do not have to worry about all the world does because we know with whom we have our faith in. I hope all is well with everyone! Blessings

P.S. We close on our land tomorrow morning at 10:00 then after that we are heading to Memphis for 4 nights to the big Million Dollar race! I will have my computer but my good friend will be using it for school more than I will for blogging! Pray for us for protection as we travel all that way in our Motor home with all of our children! Blessings

Paper Plate Smiles and Green Sequined Boys!

There has been so much going on around here. I feel like I am always doing something. Thursday Morning I had my recheck on my incision. All is well and that little booger itches soooo stinkin bad but its alright this to shall pass! After I got out of the doctor's office I went to grab "S" and I some lunch!

**Warning Soap Box** I am a little angry about this one and you can tell :o( I had an interesting phone conversation while on my way into town and I am just curious why in the world do people not leave well enough alone? I mean some of the things I heard were so hateful and could seriously disturbed one if they were not secure in there relationship with the Lord. I won't go into detail because its a private family matter but I will say this. EVERYONE Me included need to worry about our own family not everyone else's lives and keep our two cents worth to ourselves. I mean seriously if you are not helping you are hendering and well enough said on that point. I am just as guilty and have learned a valuable lesson. If its got nothing to do with me to keep my Mouth shut. Ughh I mean seriously people can be so mean and spiteful. OK OFF MY SOAP BOX!**

I went straight to the church after we got something to eat. We had craft day we made all of the crafts for all 3 campuses for 4 straight weeks, put the new Cd's in there cases and the new dvds the same. I always love getting to hang out with my Little Praisers family. Meredeth your story of the tire and the broke down car was I am sure a horrible experience but know you are not alone we OWN a tire and mechanic shop and I am driving around on some almost bald tires! So I am there with you sister! We had a great time chatting and working on the crafts and fixing boxes (all Ashley) For all campuses and classes. Listen up Little Praisers Coordinators on week 4 if your are teaching that week please note I DID NOT MAKE THE PAPER PLATE MOUTH'S! bahahahah (Jesus forgive me I just told a little fib) That was the hardest thing to make when you did not have a) Adult scissors b) a straight blade c)you had to use hair trimming dull scissors then go to borrow from the church office and they were dull too. SO I did my best its horrible and half the time the chick is talking out the side of her face! ha ha But oh well I tried. I had to make 17 sets of 8 ha ha good times. I left the church and headed back to the Boro to meet Hubby at the the store so we could take the dragster out to the mountain to make a few practise runs on the new transmission before we head up to Memphis next week for the Million. That's to far to go to have the blame thing break down first pass. Car did great seems to be on point! We are excited about next week.
While we were out there one of our former employee's came out. He had just gotten a horrible report that morning. He has a 2 1/2 inch tumor on his right testicle and found a spot in his chest! He was scheduled for surgery the following morning to have the testicle removed and sent off for biopsy. (That was yesterday and he came through fine, we are praying for a good report on the biopsy) Please join me in praying for him he is only 24 years old his name is Joshua Couch. He is pretty upset and was very worried about what all this means to him. I just kept encouraging him to get his life right with the Lord and to cry out for Mercy. God love him it just broke my heart.
We got home around 9:00 and I still had to make apple dumplings for "M" class. She had picked the final day of the 2 week long Johnny Apple Seed Apple recipe tasting for me to bring something in. I mean my Apple dumplings are "M" favorite dessert that I make and this would be the second time in 2 years that I have made them and sent them to school. (She was a little upset that 2 of the girls said they were OK ha ha) She wants everyone to love them like she does. I told her (here is a good lesson) and you can not please everyone all the time. So what if they don't like them all that matters to you is that you like them. It's not your issue do not take it personal.

Friday morning was the Big Homecoming. Now here in the Boro this is a huge deal. Back home we did not get out half a day and we did not have a homecoming parade. Granted I did not go to public school but I know that with as many schools there are in Huntsville they could not shut downtown down every day for a parade. My sister called (pray for her she has pneumonia) to update me on how she was feeling and see what I was doing. I told her I was picking the girls up from school and going home to get ready for the H/C parade. She was like the elementary school got out early for H/C? I thought well yeah and then it dawned on me she was like me from Huntsville and this was not practised there. We headed down to City Hall to hang out with our buddies down there and wait on the parade. It was a great little parade and I was hoping Rashad would ride but he is to cool I guess. I can't believe he is graduating it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. It does not seem like it was just the other day I met him 13 years old and a pain in my tail. He is such a wonderful young man I love that boy just like he was my own! After the parade we ran home got dressed and headed back out to the ballgame. It seemed like anyone who at one point in there lives breathed the air in Scottsboro was there. That place was jam packed. Thank Goodness we have reserved seats because we never would have gotten a seat.

(SIDE NOTE) My daughter's want me to tell you guys about Butler's band. They had the biggest laugh in there lives and I felt a little bad. You see Butler's band is rather small but a big sound came out of them they played all new on the charts songs and I loved watching them. That's not the laugh the dance line had 2 girls and 1 boy (THATS RIGHT I SAID BOY). Allow me to explain to you what they had on. The girls had on an off one shoulder green sequined top with skin tight black pants and white gloves on the boy had on a Skin tight green sequined shirt with the same skin tight black pants and white gloves. Do not get me wrong I am all for Boy's dancing I think its great but ummm this boy he danced the girls into the ground and he pranced all over that field. I had no idea boy's hips could move like that. I felt bad for him because you could hear the WHOLE Scottsboro side roaring in laughter. This little brown guy just danced his heart out and smiled the whole way through it and then proceeded to prance his hip shacking booty all the way to the other side and stand and sway and shake it up in the stands. Hubby says he wished he had taken a video so that I could post it on here for you guys to get the full picture.

Today we have a birthday party to go today. One of my good friend's little girls is turning 2 and having a big party. My friend and I joke and say her 2 year old and my "S" are going to get married one day. They talk about each other all the time and the only person she wanted at her party was "S" they are precious. They really are so cute to watch because they really do love being with each other. Probably more than there Mommy's do and that is saying a lot. My friend and I can sit and talk for hours and hours if we both had the time. ha ha She is going to school taking a full class load at night, taking care of 3 little girls during the day. Ha Ha and I think I have it rough. I am always doing laundry or cleaning up this house or taking the kids to gymnastics or something. So right now is not a very good time to sit and chat on the phone for me. Well I gotta get my kids in the shower and get ready to head out of town for the day. I just wanted to go ahead and update so I did not have a million days to catch up on. Tomorrow is going to be crazy. We have church then Sam's then home to get this house spotless wash all clothes iron all clothes pack all clothes then clean the house on wheels and get her ready for our trip to Memphis! Pray for us! hee hee Blessings!
